Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

"Yes ma'am," The staff nodded and walked away from a little before turning his back and speaking to the microphone in his ears.

After the dish was reserved again Keiji looked patiently and waited for Klyzer to speak and teach him how to eat the food properly.

"Keiji, look at this, first you need to arrange the food in an orderly manner. You know if you eat sweet first then you eat salty food it will ruin the taste." Klyzer spoke as she demonstrated how to eat the food properly.

Keiji was so engrossed in it and couldn't help but remember every single thing that he saw, smelled and felt. Because Klyzer moved a little closer to him her scent had already travelled through his nose. Her scent was that of a little flower but was soft and clear. Unlike other perfume in which it smells so strong for him especially he has high senses. 

"First you need to crack it like," she said as she demonstrated what she was doing.

*Then put some of this if you like because it will add to the aroma and add a little bit of this for it to be tastier,"

"Then why not put more so that it will be tastier." 

"Of course if you put more it will change the taste it's like you put a little bit so that the taste would form and change a little but make sure that it will suit your taste and there are things like food that if you have a disease or anything the taste of the food will also be different for you. " 

"Really!? But from what I smell this kinda heart my nose a little."

"See you have tasted it plain before right now, taste this. You eat it like this, ok."

Keiji licked his lips a little and nodded. He put the same amount as Klyzer did; he counted every quantity of the salt pepper and everything and made it the exact same number as what Klyzer put. 

"Make sure not to put too many or the taste will change and it will not be perfect."

Keiji did as he was told and ate with his heart content as if he found his direction in life. Keiji made sure that he won't forget everything on how to eat perfectly.

"Then after that, we were going to move to the next dish," Klyzer said so as she gestured to the man waiting for orders.

"So of course we start our food with an appetizer but it must be soup first before appetizer but it is still alright maybe next time. If you want to have the exact taste of the meal you need to start with the right order so first is soup but you skip it. Then appetizer which is what you have eaten already."

Keiji nodded as he listened carefully and examined the next dish present. It was full of green. 

"After appetiser is a salad. First, you need to sprinkle it with anything you like but make sure that the amount is right and it compliments the food and not fight with it. But now I will recommend what is the taste that I want so first sprinkle it with a little bit of pepper then put some salt just a pinch." Klyzer demonstrates what she says as Keiji kept listening while trying to remember every single detail. 

Mia, Ryle and Sophia just watch them as they also ate in the same manner as them. Ryle was also ignorant about this; he just ate whatever was on the table and what he could afford but right now he was in a luxurious place that he would never be able to dream of stepping into.

Mia saw that Ryle was following the steps of what Klyzer had just said and couldn't help but smile. 

"Hey don't put that much lessen it a little or it will ruin the taste," Mia said.

"Like this," Ryle asked as he let some of the salt he was going to put fall.

"Yup that is the right amount for me but if you want you can put more."

"Thanks!" Ryle couldn't help but be shy and blushed a little then he continued eating as he followed what Mia was saying.

Sophia then became somewhat lonely and couldn't help but spoke, " Aren't you all too close to each other, remember you're still a student," she teasingly said. 

After she said those words the three looked at her as their cheeks heated up a little bit while Keiji was still looking at the dish in front of him while examining it.

"What? I'm just joking, why are you all staring at me, hehe" Sophia said as she laughed slightly.

"We're just helping each other, nothing more," Klyzer said coldly with a poker face while in her heart there was like horse racing and it was beating faster. 

Klyzer thought 'Right! Why did I do that? aren't I too obvious, I forgot about them…' as she kept her poker face and continued teaching Keiji.

Then there comes the music which came from musicians that were playing from afar. 

Keiji looked at the source of the sound and saw that there were four musicians: one was using a violin, the other one was playing the piano, and the other one was holding a zither, and the last one was holding a bugle.

The one who was holding the violin is playing and the other one is the one who was playing the piano. Both musicians played their own instruments and continued as they played. The other two musicians were just waiting in case there were requests that needed them.

The sound travels through everyone's ears in the room and it was a pleasant sound with a som and calming feeling which was requested by Klyzer. Keiji found eating slowly more satisfying especially if there are good sounds that are pleasant to the ear. 

After eating they discussed about the test that Keiji would take. Sophia tells Keiji everything she is going to conduct. First, he would conduct a blood test. Then thereafter that, there will be further test including the blood and it would take for a week or even a month. Then the next test would be the strength test which will test your body to the limit. And lastly your mind or your IQ.

Because they have already conducted the test about the innate ability they would not conduct it anymore and because it will be hard for them especially there are limited machines that test their innate ability and it is only exclusive to the Union. Which is why they decided to start the test after the results are out. 

Sophia had also made sure that no one would find out about Keiji's blood because it would be disastrous and they might capture Keiji and make an experiment on him. As they were talking the musicians still continue to play their instruments but they are far from them so that they would never have the ability to eavesdrop on what they are talking about. 

As they were talking Keiji just listened to them and nod if he was being asked. He just continues reading the book that he was holding. He has found many great and new books that interest him that is why he was engrossed in it. While he was reading he also listened to the music and was memorizing their movements and the sound that was being produced by the instruments. 

After talking for a while Mia and Ryle found something interesting on their own they also began reading books. They all char happily and as time goes in Sophia bid her farewell as she still has something to do and she was also out of the place so she didn't dally any further and went on her own. 

She went back to the laboratory and started working again. She was a biologist and have different scopes which she had already mastered. That is why she became an exclusive tester for the Union but she was not loyal to it and was even against the Union. 

Her family have been a good citizen since then and their work was also the same as her but unlike her, they became part of the Union even when they were still students in which they were being taken advantage of. Because of the lack of a degree, the Union used some things and played a little behind the scenes to make them sign a contract for the Union. This contract was not simply because it was made of innate ability.

As a part of the Union Sophia already knew that Klyzer has a certain connection with the Union but she just said that she would hide something from the Union which means that she betrayed the Union and if a word gets out it means not just losing her job but also losing her life.
