The light inside the aircraft flickered intermittently, and Jun Ye leaned against the observation window, his eyes showing a trace of fatigue.

 

It had been twenty-one years since he arrived to the Zerg World. From the initial state of bewildered ignorance and having nothing, he was now about to get his life partner.

 

Or perhaps it should be said, his male Zerg master…

 

What a dreamlike feeling it was. Just a moment ago, he was commanding thousands of troops on the border of the Zerg Empire.

 

But now, after a journey of more than 20 hours, spanning hundreds of light-years and several interstellar leaps, he had been transported to the capital of the empire. His purpose was to guide the physical awakening of his male master, who had yet to evolve.

 

In a race where males were scarce and natural reproduction was paramount, in the face of the male insect’s physiological awakening, even with his heavy responsibilities, he had no right to refuse this.

 

For the Zerg Race, the frontline situation, the ownership of several planets, the casualties of tens of thousands of soldiers… they all paled in comparison to the future of a high-ranking male Zerg.

 

It was already late at night.

 

The aircraft traveled through the city’s skyline, following the planned aerial route of the Imperial Capital, as if weaving through neon lights and shadows.

 

Jun Ye’s eyes were half-closed, and according to his usual sleep schedule during peaceful times, he should have entered a state of slumber by now.

 

However, his mind was in great turmoil, and even though he had mastered the skill of sleeping while standing during his time in military school, he felt no trace of drowsiness at this moment.

 

They were about to arrive at the main residence of the Lindsay family—the home of his future male master.

 

And this “future” would be taken away soon…

 

Unconsciously, Jun Ye pressed the terminal ring on his wrist, and the figure of a blond teenager was constructed in his mind.

 

Proud, willful, childish… not much different from those spoiled young male Zergs.

Ha, he hadn’t even married into the Lindsay family yet, and they were already stamping their mark on him…

 

Jun Ye chuckled softly and moved his head away from the observation window.

 

He raised his hand to open the door, and his military boots hit the ground.

 

No longer displaying the tired and lazy demeanor he had when he was alone inside the vehicle, Jun Ye had transformed back into the impeccable former Alliance Major General as he stepped out of the aircraft.

 

He closed the door behind him with a backward swing of his hand and strode purposefully through the open metal gate, heading straight for the grandiose mansion at the center.

 

The vision of the Zerg race was excellent, even at night. From hundreds of meters away, Jun Ye could clearly see the golden-haired male Zerg standing on his tiptoes, gazing out from the entrance of the mansion.

 

It was his future male lord, Joshua Lindsay.

 

Jun Ye’s steps faltered imperceptibly for a moment, but in the next instant, he regained his composure.

 

Illuminated by the quaint streetlights on either side, he continued forward along the smooth cobblestone path.

 

The young male Zerg was dressed in a pale gold nightgown that matched his hair color, exuding a warm aura under the glow of the lights.

 

Perhaps it was the combination of this extravagant mansion and the luxurious robe that slightly dazzled Jun Ye’s eyes, creating an illusion of returning home as he looked at the male Zerg waiting at the doorway, lost in a trance.

 

“Jun!”

 

Upon seeing Jun Ye, Joshua’s eyes lit up, and a joyous expression appeared on his face.

 

Joshua clenched the collar of his robe, leaning slightly forward as if he was about to pounce in the next moment.

 

However, he didn’t move, probably because he wasn’t wearing shoes.

 

Jun Ye’s gaze slid down to the male Zerg’s bare feet, and his steps quickened ever so slightly.

 

As Jun Ye approached, Joshua extended a paw.

 

With a delicate wrist, fair and slender five fingers, it was the kind of hand that could be featured in a wedding ring advertisement.

 

If it weren’t for the fact that this naughty hand was reaching for his waist, Jun Ye would have wanted to slip a ring onto it.

 

Lost in thought for just a moment, Jun Ye found Joshua already pressed against him.

 

“Jun, Jun~” Joshua tiptoed and excitedly rubbed his head against Jun Ye’s chin.

 

Ticklish… it was a bit itchy.

 

Jun Ye slightly lowered his head and noticed Joshua’s feet, pale from the freezing cold, planted on his military boots. He abandoned the thought of prying the Zerg off himself.

 

Instead, he grabbed the male Zerg’s waist and let Joshua rest on his shoulder, rudely carrying his future partner into the house.

 

Joshua was quite taken aback, momentarily forgetting to struggle. He looked bewildered as Jun Ye carried him upstairs.

 

This… was different from what he had imagined.

 

Growing increasingly annoyed by the male Zerg’s touch, Jun Ye used his free hand to grab one of Joshua’s paws, pulling it away from his head, and asked, “Where do I sleep?”

 

“Second room on the second floor! My room!” With Jun Ye’s question, Joshua completely forgot about his earlier fascination with the hair-pulling game he was playing1Basically he was playing with Jun Ye’s hair and cheerfully replied.

 

Jun Ye acknowledged it and proceeded to carry the male Zerg upstairs.

 

He had actually forgotten which room belonged to Joshua, hence the casual inquiry. Joshua was about to experience the most important physiological awakening of his Zerg life, and Jun Ye had returned to serve as his physiological guide. If he didn’t sleep in the future male Zerg’s room, where else would he sleep?

 

Jun Ye agreed to sleep with him, which evidently excited Joshua so much he wanted to shout in joy! But he had secretly climbed out of bed and waited for Jun Ye. He couldn’t let his father and female father2So male zergs and female/sub-female zergs are all men. But the distinction concerns their reproductive abilities. Male Zergs can impregnate female Zergs, and female Zergs can give birth. That’s why the male Zerg is called “Father” and female Zerg is called “Female Father”. I had thought of putting in Mother instead but finally settled on this. find out, so he suppressed the urge.

 

Joshua’s way of holding back was to bite Jun Ye’s shoulder, muffling any potential sound. Jun Ye glanced at him lightly, confirming that the Zerg’s bite couldn’t pierce through his military suit, and he ignored it.

 

From Jun Ye’s perspective as a human in his past life, Joshua’s behavior was akin to a certain form of a patient’s delusion. After all, to a person with normal perspectives, the idea of physiological awakening for the male Zergs, which required the presence of the opposite sex to mature, could only be considered a condition. What else could it be?

 

Removing the male Zerg clinging to his waist, Jun Ye threw him onto the off-white soft mattress and Joshua playfully pounced back towards him.

 

Without showing any expression, Jun Ye pulled Joshua’s arm that had wrapped around his waist, saying, “I’m going to take a shower.”

 

After coming down from the battlefield and spending a day in the spacecraft’s teleportation cabin, he found himself dirty.

 

Joshua immediately became obedient, quickly rolling on the bed and hugging a pillow tightly against his chest. He buried half of his face in the pillow, then looked at Jun Ye, slightly shy while saying, “I’ll wait for you.”
