Zayne looked at his empty house in disbelief. It seemed as if all his stuff had simply disappeared in an instant, leaving only walls and dust.

Tap.

Alex walked over to Zayne, and put a hand on his shoulder, "What do you think? Impressed?"

"Agh...? So you did it?" Zayne muttered, then he frowned and looked coldly at Alex, "What the fuck is going on here?"

"Hey, didn't you hear me? I said we're going to your house, not your home." Alex smirked, put his hand in his pocket, and pulled out a bunch of keys.

"What...?" Zayne was puzzled.

Alex sighed, tossed the keys up, and headed for the car, "Come on. Now it's time to head to your home, it's my gift to you."

"But... how come..." Zayne looked at his home one more time, unable to leave here.

Alex stood by the car, crossed his arms across his chest, and looked intently at Zayne. He waited a while, then said, "Hey, how long are you going to stand there?"

"But... I've spent most of my life in this place... It's the only thing I have..." Zayne looked at Alex with a slightly lost look.

"Is it? I just told you I gave you the house." Alex looked up, "Zayne, the whole world is on its way to massive change, your sister is going to be on the mend soon, which is no doubt a very important event for you, but yet you're going to hang on to your old life?"

Alex's voice changed to deep and serious, "Stop fooling around. It's time to step forward and move on. If there's an opportunity to change something for the better, you should always take it!"

Zayne gulped. It was hard for him to lose his home so abruptly, which was the only place where he could rest in this harsh world. Other than Mia, it was the only good thing he had left after the orphanage.

Zayne looked up at the sky covered in twilight and smiled bitterly. He had spent the day in the real world today, so it was time for him to keep moving forward, in all directions.

"Well... Perhaps you're right. What's more, it's silly to refuse such valuable gifts, right?" Zayne glanced at Alex before heading toward the car.

Alex smiled, tossed the keys to Zayne, and pressed on the gas. The roads were already practically empty, so Alex drove as fast as he could. His car was moving at race speed, but Alex wasn't worried at all as he only had a slight smile on his face.

Crackle.

With a sharp turn, raising a cloud of dust, they stopped. Zayne didn't know where they were, but it was quiet and felt pleasant.

"Here we go. This is one of the most peaceful places in the whole town with probably the best view!" Alex exclaimed with an excited expression as he got out of the car, slamming the door behind him.

Zayne followed him, and his eyes went wide. In front of him was a two-story modern house, made of light stone, marble, and wide windows. The grounds weren't too big, but it was more than enough for one person.

"Damn... How the hell much is this?" Zayne muttered in disbelief.

"Hmm... A few years ago I bought this house for 7,000,000 credits, so today it's worth about ten, I think." Alex answered uncertainly.

Zayne was speechless. He hadn't expected Galahan to agree to pay for his sister's treatment, but now he was being given the house for absolutely unbelievable amounts to him before.

"Wait... So this house belongs to you?" Zayne asked, eyeing Alex.

Alex nodded, "Yeah, even for Platinum Post it would be hard to lose seven million at one point, but I'm not using this house anyway, so I can give it to you. Come on, I want you to appreciate the view."

They walked around the house and stopped at the border where they had a panorama of the whole city as well as dozens of skyscrapers, the tops of some of them obscured by clouds.

"The neighbors here are various businessmen, there are a few celebrities, they're all busy people, so this is one of the calmest places in the whole city." Alex said quietly, looking up at the slowly rising blue moon.

"It's actually beautiful..." Zayne gulped, feeling strange. Everything happened too fast, and his mind couldn't keep up with his emotions, like a hurricane rushing through his whole body.

"Zayne can I ask you something?" Alex asked with a calm look.

"Hmm? Sure... I guess after a gift like that I owe you one." Zayne replied as a bitter smile appeared on his face.

"Let's have a short sparring match."

"Hmm?" Zayne tilted his head in confusion.

Whooooooooooooooosh.

At the same moment, Alex's silhouette blurred as his foot came down on Zayne, at tremendous speed. Zayne's pupils narrowed as he put out a block at the last moment. The shockwave went through Zayne's body, tossing him aside.

Zayne let out a light sigh and put the block away, looking at Alex, who was heading toward him with a confident smirk.

"You know, before I started working with Galahan and founding Platinum Post, I was a member of one secret agency. In terms of fighting skills, I was one of the best, even the army officers or masters of the sport couldn't compete with me." Alex spoke, shedding his jacket and shirt, exposing his muscular torso, which in some places was covered with scars.

Alex looked at Zayne, "But now... my kick is blocked by a simple-looking young man. Zayne, I play Fallen Fate too, and I was able to get all my stats up to 20, that's in average. What about you?"

Zayne sighed, "About forty, though obviously Titles and Passive Skills can give a lot more than just stats."

"Yeah, I agree with you. Titles are incredible, I only have two, but it's enough to be my treasure." Alex nodded with an excited expression.

"Only two...?" Zayne muttered in disbelief.

"Hmm? Is something wrong? How many Titles do you have?" Alex tilted his head with a questioning look.

"About ten regular ones and two special ones..." Zayne said uncertainly.

"Ten... Special Titles... Fuck... What the hell do you do in Fallen Fate Online, I never even heard of it..." Alex's eyes went wide, then he shook his head, "Whatever, let's keep going."

Whoooooooooooooosh.

Alex rushed forward, quickly approaching Zayne. He clenched his fist tightly and struck with all his might, but Zayne ducked easily, taking a step to the side.

'Fine, now I can attack.' Zayne muttered inwardly, completely calm. He stretched his arm forward, about to strike, but suddenly Alex's silhouette disappeared as the world in front of him tilted.

Crackle.

Alex's arms tightened around Zayne's neck as Alex appeared behind him. It was a stranglehold Alex had mastered to perfection.

"Well, what are you going to do now? You may be Zayne Fellen, but you're still an ordinary young man. Your skills are hardly enough to overpower me." Alex whispered, while his green eyes, like those of a predatory snake, glowed in the dark.

Alex knew how to hold his grip so the target could never escape.

"Yeah, maybe you're right..." Zayne muttered, "But the battle with Apostle taught me that some problems can be solved with pure power..."

Crackle.

Zayne's eyes grew colder as he grabbed Alex's hands and slowly unclenching them.

'What the hell...? That's impossible...!' Alex inwardly exclaimed in disbelief.
