Thank you to SOLEIL for the ko-fi~

Although his eyes were closed, Shu Shuishui’s smile was already beginning to overflow with joy. There was no need for doubt; he knew he would receive Gu Langu’s morning kiss. Indeed, Shu Shuishui felt the pressure building as Gu Langu drew near and the faintness of his breath.

As his breath drew nearer and became more urgent, Shu Shuishui realized that the target was not his forehead. Just as he felt a hint of surprise, there was a slight, cool sensation on his lips, along with a soft and moist touch.

Subconsciously, Shu Shuishui opened his eyes, and he found himself looking directly into Gu Langu’s eyes. Those eyes, which he had once praised with earthy sweet words, were filled with starlight.

It was Gu Langu, yet it seemed as though he wasn’t. It was like the beginning, yet there was something more. He could no longer think further as the slightly cool lips grew increasingly hot, rendering him thoughtless.

Shu Shuishui instinctively leaned back, but it only made him tilt his head slightly to endure better. Breathing became more difficult and his gaze confused. This was probably the first time Shu Shuishui felt madness, obsession, and fierceness in Gu Langu’s presence.

Perhaps it hadn’t been too long, at least Shu Shuishui could still catch his breath when this prolonged and strenuous morning kiss finally came to an end. Gu Langu withdrew, his breath no longer grazing Shu Shuishui’s face, and Shu Shuishui remained lost in a daze.

“Shui Shui, good morning.” A low, husky, and seductive morning greeting whispered by his ear sent shivers through even the human-like Shu Shuishui, stimulating his ear.

This greeting seemed to transcend nine thousand years of time, crossing countless dimensions and enduring eternal hardships. Even if it had been through struggles and bloodshed, it remained tender with each call.

For some reason, Shu Shuishui felt his eyes welling up with tears. This feeling came from the depths of his soul, resonating even without the memories of nine thousand years. “Gu Gu, lie down.”

Although Gu Langu, whom he had expected to receive a morning greeting from, was puzzled, he obediently repositioned himself inside the double sleeping bag.

“Gu Gu, close your eyes,” Shu Shuishui continued.

Gu Langu naturally complied without hesitation.

After Gu Langu closed his eyes, Shu Shuishui leaned in closer and, following his instincts, planted another morning kiss. This one was gentler but carried infinite tenderness.

“All right, Gu Gu, you can wake up now with one more morning kiss,” Shu Shuishui added, brushing his lips against Gu Langu’s.

This time, Gu Langu didn’t obediently open his eyes. Instead, he lifted the corner of his lips and said with a smile, “Gu Gu needs two morning kisses to wake up~”

Shu Shuishui felt like he had been struck by a surprise attack. Gu Langu’s style of being cute was irresistible. Well, of course, he had to pamper him. Without hesitation, Shu Shuishui pressed his body down, bringing himself face to face with Gu Langu. He then said, “I’ll give Gu Gu three; how about a morning kiss appointment for the rest of our lives?”

Gu Langu’s eyes trembled, but he managed to suppress the urge to open them. Perhaps he felt his current position lacked dominance, but he couldn’t bear to interrupt, so he succinctly replied with two words, “Permission granted.”

Inside the tent, there was silence again, with only the intimacy of their lips and teeth lingering, proving that humans needed one more morning kiss to wake up, and sometimes even two wouldn’t suffice.

After the two of them finally emerged from the tent, it was already bright outside. The valley was bustling with people, appearing vibrant. People were diligent but not hurried, relaxed but not careless, living through the winter in this greenhouse with a comfortable rhythm.

Nan Ge had left them breakfast, which was quite hearty, considering it was their first meal after leaving the simulator. There was a variety of dishes, both meat and vegetables, stewed, fried, steamed – a bit of everything. It was impressive, not only for a desolate planet with limited resources but even in the entire galaxy.

With ingredients and various seasoning seeds contributed by Shu Shuishui, everyone’s culinary skills improved gradually, and the dishes on the table were all excellent. It was evident that the valley had developed quite well during the three-plus months they had spent inside the simulator.

Gu Langu served Shu Shuishui soup, and he scooped some with a spoon and fed it to him, causing those nearby to shiver with goosebumps.

“Nan Ge, do you think our leader and Shui Shui are under some kind of spell? Or is it that people in love are just… like this?” Yu Jin couldn’t find the right words to express his feelings.

Nan Ge patted Yu Jin’s shoulder. “You’ll probably understand when you reach our leader’s age and still remain single.” With that, he turned and walked away, protecting his eyes and the stubborn heart of a single person.

Yu Jin clearly disagreed, with an expression that said, “How is that possible?” Then, he realized and called out to Nan Ge’s retreating figure, “Nan Ge, aren’t you only two months younger than our leader? Our leader is no longer single; why are you still single?”

Nan Ge stumbled under his feet, feeling like he had been stabbed in the back. He had half a mind to turn around and give Yu Jin a good beating. However, as a person who valued manners, Nan Ge ultimately continued walking without looking back. After all, Yu Jin’s mouth always led to trouble, and there was no hurry.

No one paid any attention to Yu Jin, and he realized he was being uninteresting. Although he really wanted to get closer to Shu Shuishui, the atmosphere around Gu Langu and Shu Shuishui was so strong that even Yu Jin felt awkward approaching for a chat. In the end, he reluctantly immersed himself in work.

When Shu Shuishui and Gu Langu finished their meal, Nan Feng, who had come to tidy up the table, suggested that they come up with a name for the valley. If everything went as planned, they would be settling in the valley for the long term, and having a distinctive name would aid in future development and foster a sense of belonging and community.

This was clearly Nan Ge’s idea and also signaled that he was ready to show his strength and establish a foothold on Cang Zhan Star. They couldn’t casually refer to it as “Gu Langu’s Base.”

On Cang Zhan Star, most people had very straightforward goals: survive. So, when they lacked power, few would indulge in fantasies or get overly passionate, like naming their base and provoking hostility. Instead, everyone was simple and straightforward, usually naming their base after the leader. After all, they all lived on the edge, coming and going, with no strong sense of belonging. If they didn’t like a particular base, they would just move to another one.

Gradually, an unwritten rule emerged on the desolate planet. Besides the large bases with defined zones, such as safety zones, Area A, Area B, etc., only those who intended to establish their own faction and were prepared to carve a slice of the complex web of interests would give their base an official name.

Once a name was established, people who joined it would find it difficult to leave, and the bases would be in a state of mutual responsibility and interdependence. Therefore, in the resource-scarce, harsh environment of Cang Zhan Star, creating such a base was truly not an easy task.

However, it happened to be quite fortunate that in the current valley, there was the powerful Gu Langu, who discouraged anyone from causing trouble, along with a treasure trove and the fortunate individual, Shu Shuishui. Add to that a few months of harmonious coexistence, and no one opposed the idea of formalizing the base’s name.

As for choosing a name, it was naturally entrusted to Shu Shuishui and Gu Langu, as they were the core founders of this base.

“My brother says there’s no rush. Take your time to think, and we’ll have an answer during dinner,” Nan Feng said with an overflowing smile. He was clearly looking forward to this new name, even though it wouldn’t bring any substantial changes. However, the mere formality of it all filled people with excitement.

Nan Feng departed, leaving behind two slightly stuffed individuals who strolled around the lake in circles. They attracted numerous curious glances along the way. After all, although they had heard about Shu Shuishui’s remarkable transformation, witnessing it with their own eyes still felt unbelievable, and curiosity was inevitable.

As everyone was quite far apart, Shu Shuishui didn’t mind. There were several small boats moored by the lake, and it was clear they were newly made. Gu Langu and Shu Shuishui got on one of the boats and headed toward the center of the lake.

Shu Shuishui took out a fishing rod from his spiritual storage, preparing to chat while solving lunch. However, when he pulled out his once beloved mini fishing rod and a small tea cup, he hesitated for a moment and eventually put them back.

Gu Langu spoke up beside him, “Shui Shui, whether you turn into a mouse or anything else, it’s all handsome. I like them all.”

Shu Shuishui’s eyes lit up. “Really? Do I look handsome when I’m a mouse?”

Gu Langu nodded earnestly.

In Shu Shuishui’s eyes, Gu Langu didn’t lie, so he naturally believed him. He then shrank his body, leaving a pile of clothes in the small wooden boat. Under the clothes, there was a small bag, and he fumbled around inside, successfully wrapping himself up in it.

Gu Langu reached over and retrieved Shu Shuishui from the sleeve of his clothing.

The furry Shu Shuishui had generated a bit of static electricity, causing his fur to stand up a little. Gu Langu tried to pat him, but it didn’t work. Shu Shuishui immediately ran to the side of the boat, with his tail hooked onto the side, using his little paws to splash water, pretending to wet his fur while explaining, “It’s just static electricity, which makes me look a bit chubby. Although I’m not 1.8 meters tall as a mouse, I’ve gained around 0.3 millimeters in length, which is considered having long legs among mice…”

As he explained, he placed his small fishing rod on the boat.

As his explanation ended, Gu Langu’s fingers were already on his forehead, and he gently scratched him. Shu Shuishui immediately collapsed on the boat, squinting his big eyes, all four paws sprawled out, looking extremely comfortable.

It had been a long time since Gu Langu had petted a mouse. Since Shu Shuishui transformed into a human, he rarely turned into a mouse. Although the human Shu Shuishui wasn’t 1.8 meters tall, he still had a strong desire to maintain his image of having long legs. But now, it seemed that Shu Shuishui felt more comfortable in his mouse form, more accustomed to it, and more relaxed. At least Gu Langu hadn’t managed to make the human Shu Shuishui collapse like this.

“Gu Gu, what do you think we should name the base? Little…” Shu Shuishui paused, seemingly finding that names like “Little Base” or “Tiny Base” didn’t sound quite right.

Gu Langu’s finger tapped lightly, and when he saw Shu Shuishui didn’t continue, he breathed a sigh of relief. “Let’s call it ‘Shui Jing Gong1Crystal palace‘”

Shu Shuishui’s small ears perked up. “Why ‘Shui Jing Gong’?”

Gu Langu replied, “It sounds nice.”

Shu Shuishui smiled. “Oh, if Gu Gu likes it, then it’s settled. It will be the Shui Jing Gong!”

As for the name Shui Jing Gong, “Gong” represented a dwelling place, “Jing” referred to three days, and “Shui” naturally represented Shu Shuishui. So, when you reversed it, Gu Langu truly found it sounded beautiful.

“Gu Gu, I had so many dreams last night. I missed you so much, all night long.”

“I missed Shui Shui too,” he thought for nine thousand years.
