"Mr. Keeper! You can come out!?" Daniel exclaims in surprise as he doesn't think that The Keeper could come out of the shop by himself.

The Keeper looked at Daniel strangely as if he just heard Daniel say that the earth was flat.

"Of course! I can come out, no one chains me to the shop is there?" The Keeper answered jokingly.

The Keeper's face turned solemn as he began to speak to Daniel.

"Mr. Daniel, I'm afraid that the shop needs to be temporarily closed down. The problem you just experienced was caused by a lapse in my judgment. I never thought that the fabric of space would be this fragile."

"What happened? Am I actualizing too much?" asked Daniel.

"That was just a small part of the problem. The process of actualizing interferes with reality and makes whatever you actualize become a part of it. In order for you to actualize sentient beings without any problems or drawbacks, I added some fail-safes such as the price to strengthen the fabric of reality and requiring a soul from the real world as part of the actualization process to prevent any rejection from reality. But it seems like it was not enough," The Keeper explained worriedly.

"Does this mean I can't actualize anything from the card until the shop reopens?" Daniel asked.

"The only things that can be actualized without any problem are non-sentient creatures, artifacts, spells, and quick spells," replied The Keeper.

"How long will the shop be closed?" Daniel asked, sounding worried.

The Keeper paused for a moment, calculating the time in his head. "The fastest would be a month, and the slowest would be a year. But if everything goes smoothly, you should receive my update within three months," he said before continuing, "To prevent further damage, any cards that can damage the reality fabric will not be able to be actualized during this time."

As The Keeper spoke, the sentient being card in Daniel's mind dimmed, and he found that he couldn't even select it.

"See you in three months, Mr. Daniel," the Keeper said goodbye before disappearing through the shop door.

As soon as the door vanished, time resumed and Penthesilea appeared. She looked around before turning to face Daniel.

"Greetings, my lord," she said, bowing respectfully.

"Ah, Miss Penthesilea. Before doing anything, you should register yourself first. The base is still incomplete, and it will take some time before everything is in working order," Daniel said as he guided Penthesilea toward Maria, who was registering the people he had actualized.

Penthesilea did as Daniel asked and joined the queue.

There weren't many people in the queue; Daniel had only actualized around 50 people, including Penthesilea, before the problem with the space fabric occurred and he needed to stop.

Daniel made his way toward the underground hangar area that he had designed. The area was split into two sections, with one half serving as a dry dock area for building and maintaining ships, complete with a giant elevator capable of lifting up to 50,000 tonnes. The other half served as a hangar area for vertical flying vehicles.

Once he arrived, he began to actualize a cruiser and destroyer class artifact ship in the dry dock area. He then moved on to the hangar area to actualize the artifact aircraft. However, he decided to modify them slightly for stealth capabilities, as he didn't want to attract the attention of any governments or the Hightower.

After completing his tasks, Daniel returned to the residential area and found Penthesilea conversing with Maria, who was helping her organize the people he had actualized.

Together, they arranged the residential and business areas, including a restaurant and convenience store within the residential area. They also contacted the Veneziale gang to purchase a large quantity of cloth for the people he had actualized to blend in.

Currently, the people he had actualized had changed their clothes to the new ones, while the old ones such as armor, robes, and the like, were kept or left at the designated area for recycling.

With this, Daniel noticed that some of the people he had actualized had different values and personalities. Some of them chose to keep their old clothes as a memento, while others decided to trade them in for new ones.

When the two noticed him, they walked toward him with much vigor.

"My lord!" Penthesilea called out.

She was dressed in a green suit, white shirt, red necktie, and taper pants. Her hair was tied into a bun for ease of movement. Her look was androgynous enough to pass off as a young, handsome, and delicate man, if not for her endowed bosom. She could have been a male model.

"What's the matter?" Daniel asked as they stopped in front of the office that Maria had chosen to use as a registration office.

Some people wandered around, taking in the scene of their new environment, while others decided to go to their residence and rest, awaiting their new command or duty shift.

"My lord, I have spoken with Miss Maria and I have some basic information. Now that we have more people and everyone has different needs, I don't think we can eat and rely on the people from the Veneziale estate as we did before. We need a system where everyone can earn their keep and buy whatever they want to buy. We also need people to operate these shops and restaurants," Penthesilea said, addressing the problem.

"So, I propose that we use the same system as a modern-day enterprise," Penthesilea suggested.

Daniel paused to consider the challenges that came with actualizing sentient beings such as the human creature cards. With their existence in the reality, they would experience hunger, and require entertainment, social interaction, and all the necessities for survival in the modern world.

He pondered the possibility of them falling in love with the people of this world and wondered about the fate of any offspring they might have. Would they be considered natives of this world, or would they return to being a card if he used the card effect that returned them to the hand?

There were many things that needed to be verified, but some were too risky for him to test, like the card effect that returned the target to the hand. He couldn't predict the outcome if they became a card again, and he didn't know if they would retain their memories or become new entities altogether upon actualization.

These were difficult questions that would require careful consideration, and he couldn't rush to find answers without taking all the risks into account.

"That's a great idea. Write me an outline of what you need and your plan, and send it to me for my review. I'll fully support you. Also…" Daniel suddenly remembered something important and added,

"I'm just one person, and there are many more things than I can handle alone. I hope you'll be the one to lead this base when the time comes, as I may not always be able to stay here."

Daniel looked at Penthesilea with a serious expression. In the lore, Penthesilea was both a warrior and a queen, making her more than qualified to serve as the second in command or the director of this base.

In his opinion, Penthesilea was even more useful than Achilles, who could only serve as a warrior and might be able to lead a small squad. But Penthesilea was both a ruler and a warrior, making her the ideal candidate for the base director position.

"Yes, my lord. I vow to serve as the leader of this base and make it an impenetrable fortress. You can count on me," Penthesilea declared solemnly to Daniel.

For Penthesilea, being appointed as the leader of this base was a chance to redeem herself after the fall of Troy. Back then, she was one of the commanders who responded to Troy's call for help, but she fell in battle under Achilles' blade before she could even demonstrate her strategic prowess.

However, since being actualized, she had gained valuable knowledge about modern warfare and governing people in the modern world. Armed with this new knowledge, Penthesilea was confident that she would not disappoint Daniel's trust.

"Okay, but let's not overdo it. I don't want to draw too much attention from The Hightower," Daniel instructed.

"Yes, my lord," Penthesilea accepted her lord's decree.

Daniel then turned towards Maria and said, "Maria, you can move your intelligence office from the Veneziale estate to here. This place should have more space and more advanced equipment for you." He then pulled out a card from his suit.

"The budget on this card should cover a lot of your expenses and the base's operational costs. Discuss with Penthesilea on how to effectively use it," said Daniel before handing the card to Maria.

"As for the people who will operate the shop and convenience store, I will discuss this with Don Veneziale and see if his people are trustworthy enough to allow them down here," Daniel concluded.

Both Penthesilea and Maria accepted their tasks and immediately began their work. Meanwhile, Daniel walked around the residential area to see if he could convert the base into one of the locations that could generate mana.

To his surprise, he noticed that the mana he obtained from the port location had changed and two additional types of mana could now be drawn from the same port - holy and fire mana.

The locations that could generate mana were now as follows:

Sector Alpha: Daniel Secret base: Water/Holy/Fire x 1

Sector Alpha: Haunted House: Wood/Dark x1

Sector Alpha: Secret Warehouse Near the port: Water x1

Sector Alpha: Illegal Gun Workshop: Fire x 1

Sector Alpha: Wrath Safehouse: Fire/Light/Dark x1<Destroyed>
