364 Hidden Powers Plan

"Who said anything about making the continent of Eldravia public, and even if we wanted to, do you think Empress Siles would open her Empire to the outsiders," Loki said, making all three figures look at him in clear surprise, agreeing with his statement but confused at the same time.

"As you all know, the Eldravian Empire controls a number of continents from the shadows and one of them is the continent named Terbis Continent, also known as the land of Sorcerers because of the rich mana present in its environment,"

"Empress Siles had long planned to open the continent of Terbis to the seven continents, to have the means to openly spread her influence, but she was holding back because of some reasons not known to us,"

"However, now with the Human Emporer falling, she planned to use the Terbis continent to cement the position of the puppet Emporer among the masses, and she had chosen us to introduce the continent,"

"We would tell the masses how the Terbis Continent is a technologically advanced continent, who knew about the seven continents, but because of the vast distance separating them and with their continent already having a vast reserve of resources,"

"They never felt the need to use vast amounts of resources to build permanent continental travel routes because it would be a loss-making trade for them."

"However, three weeks ago, when the joined group of our three guilds reached the continent, we saw how great the content was with rich mana and advanced technology, so we made an effort and reached one of the six kings,"

"We will tell everyone how the kings made a deal with our three guilds to create a stable teleportation center on the human continent if we promise to send 20 million players to their continent,"

"There are many more details in the story, which I will explain later, but the important thing is that besides the obvious lies, everything would be true," Loki said and went silent, knowing questions were coming.

"I believe I know our plan of action," Evangeline said before proceeding to express her thoughts.

"Once the organization is labeled as criminal by the Emporer and we are portrayed as benevolent for generously sharing the new continent with everyone without seeking anything in return,"

"These actions would portray the organization as an excessively profit-driven, money-hungry group, significantly tarnishing their public image."

"While we would not be openly declaring war, we would make our people join the organization and undermine it from the inside and also sabotage it at every big opportunity we could find,"

"As for entry into the Malefis Domain, we would be using the five factions to gain access to it in large numbers, while figures like Odin and others could enter using the new feature introduced by the organization to gain tokens,"

"As we do not know how attached the Domain Ruler is to the organization or the inhabitant of the domain, we would be making efforts to make him join our side,"

"In simple words, with the changed circumstances, we would be taking the approach of a silent war and will use the time and opportunities at hand to grow our might,"

"Regardless of whether the Domain Ruler decided to align with us within the next four years or not, our growth would be substantial, and we would have our people in influential positions of the organization, and the restrictions placed on us by Zero would be lifted,"

"At that time, the Demons would be on the move, having spread carnage on every continent, and at that time, we will crush what is left of the organization after the betrayal,"

"While, no matter how much power the Domain Ruler controls, he could do us little harm with both the Eldravian Empire and the Demons backing us," Evangeline said, making Magnus nod with a smile while Killian looked disappointed.

"You are right,"

"Now let me tell you about the details of the speech that Odin will be giving in forty-eight hours, and answer any question that any of you have," Loki said before starting to tell everyone the plan in detail.

-------------

After turning the cities to dust, Alex was expecting retaliation in the form of a declaration of war from at least the top three guilds, if not more, but the guilds just posted a countdown timer on all their social media.

It was a bit surprising that the guilds decided to take so much time without making any statement while their reputation as the strongest was being dragged through the mud.

Some sympathized with guilds for picking a fight with the wrong opponent, but even that was just a form of humiliation for their mighty self.

While the internet was on fire, with every forum, social media, and real-world news showing the destruction of the three cities and the beatdown that the previously titled strongest player received, the silence from the guilds only earned them more negative comments.

Alex was given the title of the Executioner and the strongest player, with the organization rising to unprecedented fame, but they did not escape criticism.

They faced criticism from various quarters, including media outlets and political figures, and these critics labeled them as heatless tyrants, accusing them of prioritizing profit and fame over the well-being and progress of humanity.

However, Alex couldn't care less about all these things, as within an hour after he destroyed the cities, he received news that the three players who had experienced injustice were lying, or so Alden received a report.

The father, who was sent to jail, was actually at his friend's house watching a football game and got drunk and slept for hours, while the company that took their home was mistaken because of a single misprinted house number and apologized for the inconvenience.

The girl who was threatened was also lying, as the building camera footage displayed no one coming to her house while the player thrown in jail for two hours was because his face was shown in camera footage of a group harassing two females but was released when it was confirmed he was not the right person.

Even the eleven missing players logged back in, with nothing taking place in their lives, with everything that happened appearing as confident and a big misunderstanding.

However, Alex knew it was the big powers controlling the events, but he didn't understand why they didn't use these events to cause damage to his organization's reputation.

Their silence was not sitting well with Alex, as the countdown timer told him that the big powers were planning something big to clear the recent setback and shame while taking revenge against the organization.

Alex could do nothing but wait and see what the big powers had planned, and so after spending close to seventeen hours to complete the first two of three missions to collect an SS Rank legacy, he logged out.

Alex spent time with his family, and when night fell, he headed to the mansion to train. After twenty-three hours, he returned to the ancient world, eagerly awaiting what the guilds had planned like millions of other players.

Alex was flying over a rocky mountain chain in the Gold Empire, looking for a certain world boss to hunt and complete the last mission to acquire the legacy, but his mind was occupied with what the guilds could have planned as more time passed, the more uneasy he felt.

'There he is,' Alex thought, looking at a dark creature seamlessly blended into the shadow of a large rock that couldn't even seen with the naked eye.

It was a peak Fourth Rank Shadow Spectral Gryphon, a variant of the rare species of Shadow Gryphon, creatures that were a nightmare to deal with because of their ability to travel through shadows and their incredible speed and their world boss variant made them look like little harmless birds.

[Continental Announcement:

A momentous announcement from His Majesty, the Emperor, is scheduled in one hour. It is strongly advised that all individuals make their way to the nearest city to be informed of this significant development with due reverence and importance.]

Alex was about to sweep down on the majestic beast but stopped in his tracks as he listened the notification ring in his mind, repeating three times after small breaks.

'It has to be something of extreme importance for the empire to make a Continental Announcement,' Alex thought, knowing in his previous lives he had listened a continental announcement less than twenty times.

After hearing the announcement, the first thing that came to his mind was that it could only be about the Devourer beast rampage because that is exactly what happened in his previous, just the time was more than two and half years from now.

'The forums,' Alex swiftly proceeded to the forums, looking for any clue as to what the announcement would be about.

Alex spent a few minutes but discovered nothing besides countless posts from clueless players, so stressed at the considered of the Devourer beast rampage having began way before its time, he shifted toward the Gryphon.
