Reading the description of the [Mystery??? Box] again, Lei Zhen wondered if he should just call it a day and quit.

"I originally planned to open it when I was in the private room, but then Qiaolian called me all of a sudden and my mind forgot about it somehow." Lei Zhen was not blaming Tang Qiaolian, but himself.

It was all due to his cautiousness yet forgetfulness that had brought him to this current situation.

This was no longer a mistake that one can say they simply forgot.

This was a disgrace and every gamer would be disgusted at themselves if they knew they were the one who ruined it for them.

"I'm probably going to get bashed in every corner if others were to find out my stupidity." Lei Zhen muttered, hoping that no one else would know about this but him.

'I'm only human, alright. Mistakes occur when you're a human. Mhmm, this is only logical because I'm just a human.' Lei Zhen tried his best to pacify himself.

After self-comforting himself, Lei Zhen checked his surroundings thoroughly.

There was no way he would take out such a shiny object without checking if there are spies or people nearby.

You could call him a fool or a time waster, but it was still better to be safe than sorry.

Sometime later, when Lei Zhen concluded that the place is safe, he took out the [Mystery??? Box] from his inventory.

A glamorous lighting soon flashed out, but luckily, Lei Zhen had already come up with a solution to it. Using a piece of his clothes, he quickly wrapped it around the box and concealed the blinding light.

It took a few seconds later before the blinding light began to subside.

"Phew, at least I was smart enough to not open it in the public at the Town of Wales. Otherwise, the attention I get would be enormous and possibly even danger would come to me. That alone should be enough merit for some praise, right?" Lei Zhen thought aloud.

At this point, he was trying to come up with everything he could to push back the failures and mistakes he made.

However, he realized he was all alone and that there was no spectators present. Hence, it was a waste of time to try and justify his action when no one other than him knew about this incident.

Removing the clothes, Lei Zhen noticed the box had numerous '?' symbols on it, prompting his curiosity at what would be contained inside once he opened it.

Placing his hand on the box, Lei Zhen soon saw a prompt appearing in front of him.

[Open the Mystery??? Box: Yes/No]

Without hesitation, Lei Zhen clicked on the 'Yes' option. He had wasted too much time already, so he wanted to see what kind of item he would receive.

The box shook a few times before it opened. As the box opened, Lei Zhen noticed some fabric popping out.

"A clothing type?" He asked in a dumbfounded tone. Nevertheless, he dared not put a fast judgment on things and waited until the box was fully opened.

A few seconds later, Lei Zhen was astonished to see it was indeed a fabric cloth that was contained in the box. Though, the clothes seemed to be more a robe than ordinary daily clothes.

'Robe of the Archmagi?' Alarmed by such a grand title for an item, Lei Zhen hurriedly read its description.

His eye socket seemed to have popped out when he saw the amazing effect of the robe. Just an Epic Rarity rank could provide such an amazing effect.

'Wait a minute, I might just have gotten lucky since it's called a Mystery??? Box in the beginning.' He came to realize the item inside was similar to a lottery and this time, he was merely lucky to obtain such a great item.

It doesn't even take a second for him to quickly equip the Robe of the Archmagi.

Given it's a robe and not actual clothes that covered oneself, he was still wearing the Novice Set provided for beginner players.

The moment the robe was attached to him, Lei Zhen could already feel a newfound power surging through him.

Of course, it was an imaginary feeling, but who wouldn't want to feel strong after equipping themself a new gear?

"Since I can save two spells with the effect of the robe, I'm going to save it on Stun alone." Lei Zhen rubbed his chin and decided to have two stun saves.

After all, Decaying Poison is more like a field of area effect that temporarily slows the enemies down, meaning it doesn't actually stop the enemies completely.

If he was to be in a sticky situation, then immobilizing his enemies would be the better outcome.

And with that done, Lei Zhen clasped his hand and began cleaning up the mess he had created.

'Time to return back,' he thought. Cleaning up the mess, Lei Zhen began heading back to the carriage.

By the time he returned, he could hear a loud snoring sound emitting from the carriage, indicating that Chris was fast asleep.

Shaking his head, Lei Zhen calmly walked toward Gizzle and Mizzle, patting their heads in appreciation for their duty.

While he was gone, Gizzle and Mizzle were not lazing around. In fact, they were extremely alert that they spotted him coming out of the forest right away.

It was only when they realized it was him did they stop their aggressiveness.

"I'll make sure to increase your portion tomorrow." He smiled and said, prompting the two to lick his face in joy.
