It has been a month since the competition with Time Moon Hotel, and during this month, Three Thousand Food House’s business has been really booming. They open at 11 in the morning and don’t close until 11 at night. There hasn’t been a single empty spot in Three Thousand Food House. Bai Xianzhi hardly has time to leave the kitchen, let alone time to have dinner.

This kind of life continued for a month. After seeing the money coming in from Time Moon Hotel and Spicy Blood Hot pot restaurant, Bai Xianzhi once again put the matter of hiring people on the agenda. This time, he wanted to hire someone reliable with a high salary!

It’s the season when sour fruits are ripe. Tu Linlin picked quite a few sour fruits from the sour fruit tree in front of his house. He was picking them up when the neighbor grandma came back from outside and greeted him, “Linlin, picking sour fruits?”

Tu Linlin smiled shyly, “Yes, Grandma, do you want some sour fruits?”

The neighbor grandma smiled kindly and waved her hand, “No, sour fruits are too sour. As an old lady, they might make my teeth fall out.”

“No, it’s not necessary.” Tu Linlin picked five or six sour fruits and placed them in Grandma’s arms, saying, “Aaron and the others can also have some.”

Upon hearing the last sentence, the neighbor grandma no longer declined and carried the five or six sour fruits into the cave.

As soon as she entered, a tall young man took the sour fruits from her hands, helped the old lady to sit down, and Aaron smiled and asked, “Grandma, were these sour fruits given by Linlin?”

The neighbor grandma picked a sour fruit, peeled it, and took a bite. Her eyes squinted from the sourness. “Yes, I just came back and saw Linlin picking sour fruits again.”

Aaron sighed, “Linlin has really changed, much better than before.”

The neighbor grandma put down the sour fruit and sighed, “That’s true. Before, Linlin wouldn’t even greet us, let alone stay when he saw people.”

Thinking of something, she continued with bitterness, “It’s all because of Linlin’s wicked stepmother. She mistreated him. You see, now that he’s away from her, he’s doing much better! My poor old friend is still suffering under that wicked woman’s hands!”

Tu Linlin was completely unaware of the conversation between the neighbor grandma and Aaron. He was carefully packing the sour fruits into small bags and sealing them. Finally, he put all the sour fruits into a large black bag.

With the bag on his back, he locked the cave’s door. This time, he was going to the Spirit Realm to visit his grandma and bring her the sour fruits she loved.

On his way, halfway through the spatial rift, Tu Linlin stopped by Three Thousand Food House. He was a rabbit of low combat power and weak spiritual energy. Even though his body was filled with spiritual power and temporal energy, it wasn’t enough to support him all the way to the Spirit Realm. Therefore, he needed to replenish his spiritual power and temporal energy at Three Thousand Food House.

He chose the right time. Although there were quite a few people at Three Thousand Food House, the queue wasn’t too long. Tu Linlin estimated that he would be able to take his turn in about twenty minutes. He patiently waited in line as more people entered the restaurant.

“Hey, so many people, such a long queue, it’s so annoying! Can’t we just order directly?”

“Don’t worry, darling, I’ll handle this.”

“Hey, you with the big black bag in front, let us go ahead of you.”

Tu Linlin turned around, and behind him, a man and a woman were looking at him unfriendly. They exuded a powerful oppressive aura, and his face turned pale. He pursed his lips and said, “Wh… why? I… was here first, you can come later.”

The man sneered, “You want to compete with us?”

The sarcasm in his words was too heavy, and the people in the queue, both in front and behind Tu Linlin, couldn’t stand it.

“Who doesn’t come from a mother and father? Why can’t you wait in line like the rest of us?”

“That’s right. This is Three Thousand Food House, where we respect the first come, first served rule. It’s not your home!”

“Who do you think you are? Coming late and not willing to wait in line. Who gave you the privilege?”

Beside the man, the woman sneered coldly, “Who are we? You lower beings wouldn’t recognize it, but we are of the Dragon Clan royalty!”

Tu Linlin’s face turned even paler, and the people around him also fell silent. They knew they couldn’t afford to provoke the Dragon Clan royalty.

In the Three Thousand Worlds, each world had a group of people standing at the top of the food chain. In this case, the Dragon Clan royalty held that position. Although the people present came from different worlds, the transportation between the Three Thousand Worlds was extremely smooth now. Even if they showed disrespect to royalty from other races, they would be punished. So, it was best to tolerate and avoid offending them.

Tu Linlin also understood this and lowered his head, seemingly uncertain, as he walked out of the queue. He was about to apologize when he heard a voice from the kitchen, “What’s going on?”

Bai Xianzhi wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at the unusually quiet dining area. He had thought the customers couldn’t wait any longer and left, but when he came out, he saw that the place was still crowded, with everyone avoiding eye contact and not speaking.

He walked straight into the center of the crowd and patted Tu Linlin’s shoulder. “Linlin, what happened?”

Tu Linlin raised his head, his eyes slightly red, but he still managed to smile. “Boss Bai, it’s nothing.”

Bai Xianzhi frowned, but before he could speak, the man and woman on the ground spoke.

“Are you the owner here? We want to taste your spicy chicken. Hurry up and make some for us.”

“What’s your number?” Bai Xianzhi asked.

The woman picked up a piece of paper from her hand and looked at it. “Number fifty-six.”

Bai Xianzhi smiled gently, “There are six more customers ahead of you. You should be able to get your turn in about twenty minutes. Please be patient.”

The woman lifted her chin, “Serve us first, and then you can serve them.”

Bai Xianzhi scanned the crowd’s reactions and understood the situation. He said, “I’m sorry, that’s not how we do things here at Three Thousand Food House. We strictly follow the first-come-first-served rule.”

The woman widened her eyes in disbelief. She didn’t expect that after dealing with those so-called lower beings, she would still encounter resistance from the restaurant owner. So, she repeated her previous words, “We are the Dragon Clan royalty!”

She assumed that saying this would make the owner back down like others did. However, to her surprise, the owner smiled gently and replied, “Regardless of the race, everyone at Three Thousand Food House has to wait in line.”

The woman became furious, “Just a measly little restaurant, we condescended to come here because the food tastes good. Yet, you dare to show disrespect to us and make us wait behind these lowly beings. You deserve to die!”

The smile on Bai Xianzhi’s face disappeared, and he replied with a calm expression, “Oh, is that so? I don’t know if I deserve to die, but what I do know is that Three Thousand Food House does not welcome you. Please leave!”

The woman’s face turned red with anger as she conjured a wolf-toothed club out of thin air and roared, “I’ll kill you!”

The ferocious wolf-toothed club shot straight toward Bai Xianzhi’s head. The people around gasped in shock, knowing the immense power of the Dragon Clan royalty. If that blow were to land on Bai Xianzhi’s head, there would undoubtedly be a horrifying result, with brain matter splattered everywhere.

Some of the timid onlookers covered their eyes, and Tu Linlin, despite being the most fearful in the crowd, seemingly found newfound courage and took two steps forward, positioning himself in front of Bai Xianzhi. However, since he was a whole head shorter than White Xianzhi, the effectiveness of this act of defense was dubious.

Bai Xianzhi’s eyes showed a hint of helplessness as he grabbed Tu Linlin’s shoulder, intending to dodge to the side. However, the wolf-toothed club, which was rushing towards them, froze in midair.

The scene before them was somewhat comical, as if someone had pressed the pause button during a movie. The woman holding the wolf-toothed club stood frozen in the crowd, still holding it high, unable to move. The man beside her angrily shouted at Bai Xianzhi, “What did you do to her? Let her go!”

Bai Xianzhi thought to himself, “How would I know what happened to her? She’s probably gone crazy.” But he said, “Maybe she made too vigorous of a movement, and her joints got stuck. Sir, you can try moving her arms a bit; that might help.”

The man glared at him and quickly tried to move the woman’s arm. However, despite using considerable force, her arm remained immobile. He then attempted to move her other arm, straining so much that his face turned red, but her arm still wouldn’t budge. This was strange, and the man glared angrily at Bai Xianzhi again, demanding, “What did you do?!”

Bai Xianzhi was just as puzzled. “What did I do? I didn’t do anything!” he said with his hands out in a gesture of innocence.

But no one believed him. The man continued to glare at him, unwilling to attack further, and the other onlookers silently scrutinized him, guessing his identity.

Bai Xianzhi chuckled and said, “I need to get back to cooking. Both of you, please leave.”

The man gnashed his teeth, gasping for breath, and after a few more attempts, he had no choice but to carry the immobilized woman out of Three Thousand Food House. Bai Xianzhi paid them no further attention and said to the remaining customers, “It’s okay, everyone can continue eating.”

The customers had mixed expressions, looking at Bai Xianzhi as if they wanted to say something but hesitated. Tu Linlin approached and said, “Boss Bai, you… be careful. Those two are the Dragon Clan royalty. In the Three Thousand Worlds, once you offend royalty, unless you are royalty yourself, you will face severe punishment, ranging from several decades of imprisonment to losing your life.”

That serious?” Bai Xianzhi truly had no idea that offending the Dragon Clan royalty would have such severe consequences. He felt a momentary shock but couldn’t bring himself to worry. He grew up under the banner of equality in a world where everyone was treated the same. Who would dare to give special treatment? That would be suicidal!

He wasn’t afraid, but it didn’t mean Tu Linlin wasn’t. With long rabbit ears drooping, he still wore a worried expression. Bai Xianzhi comforted him, “I remember Three Thousand Food House is an extrajudicial place. The law enforcement teams from different worlds can’t reach here, right?”

Tu Linlin was taken aback and exclaimed with joy, “Yes, this is an extrajudicial place. The royal punishment for offending royalty doesn’t apply here!”

His self-centered expression piqued Bai Xianzhi’s interest, and he asked, “Would you like to work here?”

“Huh?” Tu Linlin was caught off guard by the sudden change in topic and couldn’t react in time.

Bai Xianzhi continued, “I’m too busy here. I want to hire a staff member. Are you willing to join? Free meals and accommodation, with a monthly salary of ten thousand.”

“Ah!” Tu Linlin was even more stunned. Such a high salary and free meals and accommodation?
