In “Demon Realm” {CMY’s novel}, the ability ‘Devour’ can be said to be powerful against the sky. Not to mention that Ye JianHan had experienced a lot of battles. All of his attributes were extremely high and his temperament was also cruel and cold. This ability to be absolutely rational made his whole person nearly flawless. It was very difficult to make a breakthrough against him.

But as a big boss, how could he not be able to overthrow him? {I’m assuming ‘he’ is CMY but it’s not clear. It could be the protagonist of the novel.}

If he couldn’t overthrow him, then he really wasn’t of the name ‘pig trotter’. {Means being  a playboy.}

So of course, he had a way. The protagonist Tong Xie worked hard and finally found a way to defeat Ye JianHan with thousands of words written about it. But when it came to Chu MuYun, he only needed to move his thoughts slightly.

After all he is the ‘father’ {as in the author}, so when it came to his son’s background, who could know better than him?

Ye JianHan has an infinite reputation with his ability to ‘Devour’, but in fact, almost no one knows what his background was.

He was born in the Asura Domain {I previously translated as Shura, but I’ve changed it to Asura. I haven’t changed the old chapters yet.}. To some extent, his fate was a little bit similar to Ling Xuan’s.

Ling Xuan slept on that formation for thousands of years and Ye JianHan suffered thousands of years of torture in the Asura Domain. The torture was not limited to his body, but also included spiritually.

In the end, the little wolf dog ran into Ling Mu and was fortunately rescued. The other party was also willing to pay thousands of hardships just to exchange for Ling Xuan’s freedom. Although his affection was not as sincere as it appeared on the surface, Ling Xuan didn’t know this. Thus, without adulteration, he finally chose to return to the formation completely willingly.

On the other hand, Ye JianHan had suffered a lot more than Ling Xuan, but in the end he had paid a huge price on his own and made an inextricable promise in exchange for short-term freedom.

Even when he came into the world, he never led a single day’s normal life because of his physique.

Endless hunting and killing, endless mountains of bones everywhere he went, unlimited terror and fear…

He has no family, no friends, no one close to him.

He paid a tremendous amount of pain in exchange for the freedom he wanted, but what was placed in front of him was not a sweet fruit, but a rotten fermented product with a foul smell.

Living in this world, he was alone from beginning to end.

Ye JianHan wanted to know why and for what he was like this. Because of this obsession, he would not choose to die no matter how much he suffered.

Chu MuYun knew his psychology too well, so he poked him in the heart with every word he said.

Ye JianHan said: …Too much obsession is not necessarily a good thing.

Chu MuYun replied: I am the same as you. If there is no obsession, what is the point of staying alive?

The Asura Domain, what kind of place was it? Chu MuYun also wasn’t sure.

But as long as he went there, he could dominate it.

Ye JianHan was born in the Asura Domain.

Chu MuYun and Ye JianHan left LingYun Sect. On the way, Ye JianHan asked him, “Do you know what the Asura Domain is?”

Chu MuYun replied: “It carries all the despair, pain, sorrow… all of the negative emotions in the world.”

Ye JianHan smiled: “You are very interesting.”

Chu MuYun said nothing.

Ye JianHan was asking him but he seemed to be muttering to himself: “I’m very curious, why do you know so much?”

Chu MuYun gave him this ambiguous sentence: “If you live too long, you will naturally know more.”

Ye JianHan stopped talking and just turned his head to look at him: “Since you know where the Asura Domain is, then you should understand what you will encounter after entering?”

Chu MuYun nodded and said, “I understand.”

Ye JianHan smiled: “If you can’t get out, I’m not responsible.”

Chu MuYun said, “If I can’t get out, then this transaction will be void.”

Ye JianHan looked at him with a smile.

Chu MuYun understood that this guy was still trying to read him and making final observations and judgments.

Meticulous, cautious, suspicious, and powerful.

Chu MuYun thought about Ye JianHan’s experience and he could understand why he had such a personality.

As he said, the Asura Domain is an ephemeral existence, no one knows how to enter or how to get out. Ye JianHan is the only person who has ever walked out of it.

The Asura Domain gathered countless negative emotions, which originated from the strong emotions that erupted before the death of various races.

Most of them are painful, sad, helpless, or resentful and despairing.

There is no doubt that this is a huge pessimism that an ordinary person’s spirit cannot bear.

Ye JianHan had been trapped in it for a long time. As for exactly how long he didn’t know. All he knew was that he had existed in such a dark vortex since he was conscious.

What he endured, experienced and tasted every day were huge mental stimulations. So many negative emotions were always thinking about swallowing him, but if he really could be swallowed then that would be better. The more terrible thing was that he has always maintained clarity of mind and consciousness. So he could only wait, watch and continue to suffer.

If you insist on using a metaphor, then it was probably akin to watching yourself being cut off piece by piece by lingchi, suffering from a fate worse than death, but unable to even pass out.

Excessive calmness and self-control is sometimes an extremely terrible thing.

No one knows when Ye JianHan walked out of the Asura Domain but Chu MuYun knew what the price he paid.

He walked in the world as a reaper and all the souls he swallowed returned to the Asura  Domain, constantly filling the despair and sorrow inside, and urging it to grow bigger.

And every once in a while, Ye JianHan needed to return to the Asura Domain to return the souls he’d hunted, to endure several times their pain and also to extend his life.

Yes… Ye JianHan needed the Asura Domain to continue to live.

Although he doesn’t know what was the point of living like this, he knew he wanted to continue to live because he wanted to know why he became like this.

Finding the root cause that kept him being tortured constantly.

Ye JianHan looked at Chu MuYun, “Are you ready?”

Chu MuYun said, “Yes.”

Ye JianHan smiled. He lifted his palm and Chu MuYun saw a bloody black glow pouring out, circling up extremely fast, and finally formed a pitch-black and hideous vortex in the air.

It was scary to look at it, let alone contemplate walking in.

Ye JianHan observed Chu MuYun’s expression.

A trace of undetectable distress flashed through Chu MuYun’s eyes.

Ye JianHan, who caught it just in time, smiled slightly: It seems that this guy does indeed know a lot.

Chu MuYun took a deep breath and made sufficient psychological preparations, but when he really entered the Asura Domain, he was almost completely consumed by the crazy and terrifying emotions in it.

Chu MuYun: “Absolute consciousness!”

Zerobaby released his auxiliary skill the moment Chu MuYun’s voice fell.

Even if he was absolutely conscious, it took a long time for Chu MuYun to calm down.

The moment he entered the Asura Domain, his spirit was as if a leaf of a flat boat that had encountered a violent wind and a raging sea. Like a huge disaster that could easily smash him into powder with not even a little bit left.

In just such a short period of time, Chu MuYun’s spirit felt as though it was already out of control. It was really hard to imagine how Ye JianHan spent thousands of years here.
