Chu MuYun wanted to leave several times but couldn’t. He stayed there, watching everything, looking directly at all the truth, enduring the pain of his heart being torn apart and experiencing the feeling of being swallowed by despair. Bit by bit, little by little, he teetered on the verge of collapse.

What completely collapsed all his emotions to pieces was Shen Yun’s death.

Xie QianLan locked himself in the WanXiang Palace for four years, without eating, drinking or speaking.

It was also at this time that Jun Mo left the WanXiang Palace.

When he was leaving, Chu MuYun heard what he said.

“Ah-Yun, no matter what, I will bring you back to life.”

“No matter what the price, I will let you return to the world.”

“In this life and in this world, I, Jun Mo, want nothing but you!”

Chu MuYun was dumbfounded. He stood there, completely at a loss.

He couldn’t tell how long had passed before Xie QianLan rescued him. It seemed to be a very long time and yet, at the same time, extremely short.

“I’m really sorry, I caused you to fall into the ‘Mirror of Memory’.”

Chu MuYun’s eyes were stunned: “Mirror of Memory?”

Xie QianLan’s eyes were full of pain and there was a flash of embarrassment: “It’s a kind of thing that can awaken a memory.”

Chu MuYun’s voice was rigid: “Is it awakening the memory of the entire WanXiang Palace?”

Xie QianLan sighed softly: “Yes…but only the memory of those four years.” The four years that Shen Yun was present.

After Shen Yun’s death, Xie QianLan locked himself away in the WanXiang Palace for another four years and didn’t come out until Mo JiuShao finally gave him this mirror.

Mo JiuShao didn’t do this out of the goodness of his heart. He wished to use the mirror to trap Xie QianLan in his memories forever.

But Xie QianLan eventually emerged. Because he kept watching, immersed, and after constantly paralyzing himself, he suddenly couldn’t bear it anymore.

Missing someone will not be attenuated just by escaping reality. On the contrary, the feelings  will become more and more intense. It is thick like the night when the moon is lost. Although it is lonely and deserted, the large blackness carries a crowded desire.

Who said that the dead cannot come back to life?

He died and Shen Yun resurrected him therefore…. he will definitely find a way to find and then revive Shen Yun. He will definitely make all his wild fantasies become reality!

Chu MuYun believed that the Mirror of Memory truly existed. But he also knew that what he saw was false.

Xie QianLan moved his hands and feet and let him see a completely false ‘memory’, but unfortunately… Chu MuYun knew it but Ling Mu didn’t.

His brain is now full of Jun Mo’s last words – “In this life and in this world, I, Jun Mo, want nothing but you!”

The needle was stuck into the heart and Chu MuYun’s face was extremely pale. His lips trembled slightly and the despair in his voice could no longer be concealed: “So…is everything all true?”

Xie QianLan didn’t know what he saw but, after thinking about it, he could guess. He looked at Chu MuYun with worry: “Ah-Mu… it was a thousand years ago. Even if Jun Mo had other thoughts at the time, it’s probably been extinguished long ago by now.”

Chu MuYun thought about the obsession in the boy’s eyes and shook his head: “If it can’t be extinguished, that kind of obsession will never be extinguished.”

Xie QianLan frowned. He knew that anything he could say was useless. Seeing is believing, how can you justify something which you’ve seen with your own eyes? It’s completely useless.  All explanations are just futile figurines, blocking the front and exposing the back, leaving one doubly embarrassed.

Xie QianLan said: “It’s my fault, I shouldn’t have brought you here.”

“No…” The luster in Chu Mu Yun’s eyes disappeared, “Thank you for bringing me here.”

Thank you for letting him arrive at the truth. Once you see what you didn’t know, you don’t have to keep deceiving yourself anymore.

Chu MuYun was in great pain. Xie QianLan looked at him worriedly on the surface but he was measuring the scale in his heart: The timing was almost ripe. As long as he struck one last blow, it is estimated Ling Mu’s psyche would completely collapse. If he died in this state then he would not have the will to survive at all. And, as long as you lose this will, your soul will easily be scattered.

At that time… Ah-Yun can come back.

Xie QianLan was thinking about how to give Ling Mu the last blow but was suddenly inspired by the news from the maze.

This is really good news.

Xie QianLan suddenly frowned and said, “Someone has invaded the WanXiang Palace.”

Chu MuYun was in a daze, and when he heard it, he was stunned, “What?”

Xie QianLan dragged him towards the gate of the palace.

They were now deep into the maze. When he looked around, he couldn’t see anything at all. Chu MuYun asked in confusion, “Who is it…”

Xie QianLan raised her hand and the maze suddenly became clear and identifiable.

When Chu MuYun saw the silver-haired man in plain and light colored clothes in the distance, his pupils shrank sharply.

“Ah…Ah-Mo?”

Xie QianLan’s face sank like water: “It’s not just him!”

Only then did Chu MuYun realize that there was a man in resplendent clothes beside him. A person with a cinnabar mole.

Chu MuYun returned to his senses: “Shen ShuiYan?”

Xie QianLan stared at them stubbornly.

The two people didn’t seem to be able to see them but the amazing thing is that Chu MuYun and Xie QianLan can hear their conversation.

Shen ShuiYan said, “You can enter the WanXiang Palace if you break the maze formation in front of you.”

Jun Mo replied softly, “Yes.”

Shen ShuiYan paused and asked cautiously, “You’ve really made up your mind? You’re really this merciless?”

Jun Mo said without changing his expression: “He was originally just a substitute anyway.”

Hearing this, Chu MuYun’s eyes widened suddenly. His first tightened and the fingertips pierced into the palm of his hand without him feeling anything.

What are they talking about… Chu MuYun understood it but didn’t want to understand it.

Xie QianLan also frowned and whispered softly: “What are they… planning?”

Shen ShuiYan said, “I will definitely get the Resurrection Pill. I will leave Ling Mu to you.”

Jun Mo spoke in an extremely indifferent voice: “He will come with me.”

Shen ShuiYan sneered: “Yeah, he is dazzled by you.”

 Jun Mo was silent.

But Shen ShuiYan added: “But let’s make an agreement in advance. Once Ah-Yun is resurrected, no one will interfere with his choice.”

Jun Mo said: “Yes.”

Shen ShuiYan squinted his eyes and sighed softly. He said, “Although Ling Mu will disappear, it is a good thing to use his body to revive Ah-Yun.”

With a ‘boom’, the energy in Chu MuYun’s palm surged out uncontrollably, smashing on the ground. On the ground, a huge crater exploded.

He was trembling all over, blood spilled from the corners of his lips, his eyes were scarlet and his forehead was blue. His entire person was extremely terrifying.

This was… a harbinger of anger and madness.

Xie QianLan quickly supported him: “Ah-Mu, you…”

Ling Mu’s hate had reached the extreme. Betrayal didn’t matter, he had already  acknowledged himself as a substitute, but Jun Mo… Jun Mo actually cruelly wanted to use him to resurrect Shen Yun!

The surging qi and blood couldn’t be suppressed at all and the energy in his body was surging. Ling Mu bent down and coughed violently.

Xie QianLan raised his hand and directly removed the maze.

When Shen ShuiYan and Jun Mo arrived, they saw Chu MuYun leaning on Xie QianLan’s arms.

Jun Mo’s face was expressionless but the pupils in those silver eyes almost shrunk to the size of the tip of a needle.

He opened his mouth. His voice was cold but, if you listened carefully, you would hear the tremor within it: “Ah-Mu, come back with me.”
