Ah-Si shivered all over.

It truly wasn’t him.

But it should have been him! If he hadn’t fallen, over, he would have come here to serve, but at that time, time was running out, he didn’t have time to change his clothes and he was afraid of being punished, so he let Ah-Mu go… But who would know that His Lordship would suddenly take that occasion so seriously. The people who served him that day were actually ordered to come over in person.

Ah-Si should have gone to call Ah-Mu but he was a little unwilling. The record was his name, and there were so many people, most likely no one would have paid attention to who it was… When he went, he could see his Lordship again and, in any case….

Who doesn’t want to live in the upper courtyard? Ah-Mu has already won the honor of such favor, so this opportunity should be given to him…

So Ah-Si didn’t say anything and followed the deacon to the main hall.

He just didn’t expect that His Lordship saw through it at a glance.

Such a strong power of observation and memory was really terrifying.

Ah-Si’s palms were sweaty. He wanted to speak but his throat was so nervous that he couldn’t make any sound at all.

Shen ShuiYan’s imposing manner was amazing, his temperament is taciturn and his behavior is unreasonable. Even if he was born so beautiful, people who are afraid of him are enough to circle the Demon Realm three times. {So it’s no longer the Yao Realm, it’s the ‘Mo’ Realm, as they are the Seven ‘Mo’ Lords/Kings and this is their Realm. I’ve explained the difference before – very simplified ver being that Yao is a magical/nonhuman race but Mo just refers to non-orthodox/’dark’ cultivation style, hence humans and Yao can both be ‘Mo’ cultivators, all the ML’s being non-orthodox cultivators and leading their own little posse/sects are considered ‘Mo’ Lord/Kings. Some translators translate ‘Mo’ as Devil and ‘Yao’ as Demon to differentiate them, but Helliot has been translating ‘Mo’ as Demon so I’ll just be following her. So it will be Demon Realm and Demon Lords.}

At this moment, he said sternly: “Speak! Who did you replace?”

Ah-Si fell to his knees with a stunned clatter, kowtowed his head and stammeringly retold what had happened.

The tall and humble figure flashed in Shen ShuiYan’s mind and his heart almost jumped out of his chest.

That man was seriously injured a few days ago and he thought he would die, but he unexpectedly recovered.

But what if he hadn’t recovered but had in fact succumbed to his injuries, and then resurrected after death?

After thinking about it carefully, the Shen ShuiYan is almost completely certain!

Ah-Yun, he is Ah-Yun! Absolutely!

Shen ShuiYan took a deep breath and quickly ordered: “Seal WuQing Palace, no one can leave or enter without my permission!”

He gave such an order and then raised his hand again. A powerful airflow spun, like tearing space. A long, azure sword broke through the air and he cut through his fingertips without hesitation. Using blood as a medium, the talisman he drew had the power to destroy the world.

If you understand it, you can see at a glance that this talisman is an all-around defense. He exhausted a huge amount of energy to put up an amazing shield for this huge WuQing Palace, not to protect this palace, but to completely seal it. Under such comprehensive protection, not even a bug would be able to crawl out from here!

After Shen ShuiYan finished all this, he stared at Ah-Si and asked, “Where is Shen MuYun?”

This was the first time he called them by their full names… Ah-Si was completely stunned.

Chu MuYun’s reaction was extremely fast. He realized that Mo JiuShao had discovered him. After all, his current body is too ordinary. Even if he has some cultivation basis, it is not too high  and he was not born with ice attributes. As for the poison of the fierce fire, it’s afraid that Mo JiuShao felt it the moment he stepped into the WuQing Palace.

And the reason why he was in the hall and said those words in front of so many people was simply hinting at him.

It hinted to him not to go to Ling Xuan and also hinted to him that he was waiting for him outside.

Chu MuYun thought about it a little more and, with the information that Shen ShuiYan was currently in control of,  it’s likely that after thinking a little calmly, he would be able to perceive the purpose of Mo JiuShao’s visit.

In this way, he would also guess that Chu MuYun was in the WuQing Palace.

If Shen ShuiYan found out, how could he run!?

Chu MuYun didn’t stop for a second to rest and wanted to leave Wuqing Palace, but it was still too late.

When Shen ShuiYan’s talisman opened and covered the entire palace, Chu MuYun stopped all movements.

He couldn’t go any longer and he had to destroy the exit channel he had been preparing for for half a month.

If Shen ShuiYan found out that he wanted to leave, then he definitely would never have the opportunity again.

But as long as pretends he had no intention of leaving, he might be able to find another chance.

Everything happened in an instant and their decisions were made very quickly. Zerobaby, who was watching the whole process, was full of confusion: “It seems… what happened?”

Chu MuYun didn’t have time to explain to him because the door he was in had been pushed away and a man in a fancy dress stood in front of the door against the light.

The two looked at each other, Chu MuYun reacted very quickly. He showed a little surprised but then he respectfully knelt on the ground and lowered his head in a low voice, “Your Highness.”

Because Shen ShuiYan was carrying the light, his expression was already blurry. The only ting that could be seen was that he stretched out his hand and directly forced Chu MuYun to get up, before gathering him up in an embrace.

It was a suffocating hug and, despite the cumbersome clothes, it was as if he could hear his heartbeat, so fast, so violent, so hot…

Chu MuYun sighed in his heart, but his face was full question marks. The panic in his voice was natural: “Your… Your Lordship?”

Shen ShuiYan let go of him and kissed his lips eagerly.

They hadn’t kissed for a long time, Shen ShuiYan lived in the nightmare of losing Shen Yun every night and now suddenly was able to touch him. The ecstasy in his heart had overwhelmed everything, what reason, what calmness, what restraint, all vanished.

He just wanted to possess him, he just wanted to have him, he just wanted to use all means, even if it violates the moral bottom line, to keep him by his side.

Losing is too terrible, waiting is too terrible, no one who has not tasted it can imagine his mood at this time.

Shen ShuiYan asked for a kiss eagerly and, after a brief stunned moment, Chu MuYun began to respond cautiously—a bit clumsy and jerky, mixed with humbleness and anxiety, and with a hint of joy.

His actions were like a bucket of cold water, pouring over Shen ShuiYan’s head, reminding him of what a rude awakening was like.

At that moment, what came to his mind was: this is not Ah-Yun, he made a mistake, he was happy for nothing and, after a short period of hope, he ushered in a huge despair that made people mentally collapse.

Chu MuYun was actually a little distressed. Although this squeamish little boy’s personality was crooked, he still liked his appearance quite a lot. It was a bit unbearable to abuse him like this.

It’s a pity… he had to go on with his acting to the end.

He clearly felt that most of ShuiYan’s enthusiasm had been extinguished…

Just when Chu MuYun thought that Shen ShuiYan was ‘convinced’, ShuiYan released his lips and, through the dim light in the room, his voice carried an undisguised plea, “Ah-Yun, don’t lie to me, okay?”

A dazed look flashed in Chu MuYun’s eyes, it was just right.

Shen Yun only felt that his heart was twisted into a ball but he still insisted and said: “Don’t hide from me, I won’t stop you if you want to do anything, even… even if you want to see Ling Xuan. “

Chu MuYun still acted as Shen MuYun passively, but his heart trembled slightly.

Then Shen ShuiYan pressed against his forehead and slowly spoke with difficulty as if his heart was being split open: “I will help you, no matter what you want to do, I can help you.”

“As long as… you don’t leave me behind again.”

Chu MuYun clearly saw the tears in the corners of his beautiful eyes.

It dripped down on the gorgeous clothes along the bright and clean cheeks, smearing out the pain and despair as thick as ink that could not be melted away.
