A shiver climbed Cheon Chang's back as he heard Leo's Sound Transmission. However, that only made him grip his fist tighter as he came to a decision. With no more mental barriers holding him back, the Absolute Spear shot towards the First Calamity that the Murim had come to face!

Lightning crackled as it converged in the sky and descended on the Poison Dragon's wing again. The Black Dragon directly flew out of the scorched gaping hole, flying into Cheon Chang's grasp.

"Ah! The primary target has finally decided to come and join us!"

The Head Abbot smiled with zeal even when he was busy engaging the Sword Sage. While Geochin had framed him for a much larger scheme, his original plan was just to exterminate one or two of the Heavenly Strength Society's supporting pillars!

In the mystical world of Murim, practicing Martial Arts didn't only give one strength, it also represented longevity as one grew closer to nature, and while long age didn't necessarily translate to greater ability, it guaranteed one specific aspect, accumulation!

The Azure Tree's existence and the specific location were things that only the Heavenly Strength Society was accurately aware of. However, thanks to his long life extending over a dozen decades, as well as inheriting his predecessors' accumulation of knowledge, the Head Abbot also came to know of the Society's nurturing treasure!

Although he knew nothing of the location, the timing, or even the identity of the treasure, allying himself with monsters had turned a lot of impossible things possible! With how versatile the creatures that came out of the cracks were, he only had to borrow a mimic's treasure rat to find the location and leave the rest of the questions to the monsters possessing miraculous perception abilities!
