"Pupa, it's okay for you to show yourself, right?"

Pupa materialized in front of Yunyu and that man, "Yes, I can."

"Okay, we will fight this random man together," Bai Yunyu said. 

The man's eyes were surprised by the sudden appearance of the weird floating orange thing beside Plum Blossom Immortal Sect leader. 

"Were you surprised? Don't be. This is my familiar. Its name is Pupa, and even though it is shaped and colored like poop, it's really strong—Ouch!" Bai Yunyu rubbed his head when Pupa suddenly tackled the back of his head. 

"I heard that idiot," Pupa said. 

"Ugh, whatever, just you see, I will make sure that you regret ever attacking my disciple!" Bai Yunyu pointed his finger at the man with a blood-red mask. 

The man was surprised again. First, Bai Shijue suddenly had that weird-shaped familiar. And now, he didn't use his weapon to attack. He only used his bare hand.

"You're not going to use your weapon?" The man asked.

"I don't think you worth the hassle to take out my sword," Bai Shijue replied. 

The man clenched his fist, "It seems that you're underestimating me. I will show you my wrath after you killed my leader!" The man opened his palm, and the sword stuck on the tree returned to his hand.

He clenched the handle of the sword and prepared his stance, ready to attack. 

Bai Yunyu closed his eyes for a second, trying to feel the power inside his body. Based on his own observation, his power seemed no different from the one in the third world as President Ru Lan. All his powerful attack was lightning-based, and he had a sword as his weapon.

Though, he didn't really like using it unless it was an urgent situation because it had such a destructive effect. 

He summoned Pupa because he wanted to ask first, "Pupa, do you know why I summoned you?"

"To save your ass?"

"No, to show you that I am such a cool and capable host!" Bai Yunyu said. 

"… you know that we're in front of someone from this world, right?"

"I know, and don't worry. He is going to be dead meat soon," Yunyu said with full confidence, and the man was completely provoked. 

"I will show you the door of death, you bastard!" The man blitzed and teleported right behind Bai Yunyu, 

He thrust his sword forward, but before the sword could touch Yunyu's back, Bai Yunyu suddenly turned into hundreds of golden butterflies. The man's sword thrust the air instead. 

The golden butterflies flew beautifully on top of the water surface, and Bai Yunyu's body formed again in front of him. 

Pupa lazily floated and regrouped with Yunyu. 

"Heh, you're just an amateur. Your move is very predictable. Maybe you should try something more skillful in order to touch me," Yunyu taunted.

The man could only grit his teeth. He was here to pay the blood debt of his leader that died under the hand of Bai Shijue, and he refused to get humiliated. 

"Bai Shijue, you're underestimating me. I will show you a forbidden art that will be the last thing you'll ever see," the man bit his thumb until blood dripped from his finger. 

The dripping blood colored the water surface red, and the whole river had turned blood red in only a few seconds. Even the waterfall had turned red. 

"I will show you the secret art that my master gave me."

Bai Shijue was instantly alerted by the blood-red river. This man wasn't playing around now because he was familiar with this forbidden art. This man came from the blood art demonic sect, and a touch of his blood was enough to kill anyone, including Bai Shijue,

He killed the leader of this sect by using his sword with one strong swoop. There were no tricks needed when you have a destructive force in you. But he didn't want to use such destructive force for this random man, it was too wasteful, and he didn't want to destroy such an amazing place to cultivate.

"Demonic art: Blood wave!" The man shouted, activating his power. The red river started creating big waves that would melt anyone if the water touched them.

Bai Shijue turned into hundreds of golden butterflies to disperse into thin air to avoid the waves. But the man didn't give up, "Do you think that's enough to avoid me?"

The man raised his hand, and the waterfall started creating dozens of long tentacles that tried to hit the butterflies one by one. The golden butterflies quickly regrouped to avoid the attack because if one butterfly got hit, then it would hurt Bai Shijue's skin. It was too dangerous. 

"It seems that we're not playing around now," Bai Yunyu had returned to his serious persona as Bai Shijue since the situation called for it. 

Bai Shijue looked at the red river and the man standing while manipulating the water, basically proving that the man's elemental affinity was similar to Han Shun, water. 

So this place was definitely his advantage with the amount of water around him.

But that didn't scare Bai Shijue at all. He was just sad that the trees and flowers around had to be ruined because of this man's vengeful act. 

"I will give you a chance to surrender now, or you will taste an instant death," Bai Shijue said as he gave the last warning. He didn't want to drag this for too long. 

"HAH! I KNOW THAT YOU'RE SCARED OF ME! YOU'RE JUST BLUFFING!" The man created a big, bloody red tentacle that could kill anyone with one swoop.

"DIE!" The man attacked Bai Shijue with that tentacle.

Bai Shijue's gaze darkened, "It seems that you don't take my warning at heart. You should've surrendered before your death."

Bai Shijue pointed his index finger at the heart of the masked man and said his technique, "Death Beam."

ZING!

A small but deadly laser came from the index of Bai Shijue and pierced straight through the masked man's heart in a blink of an eye. 

"Urk!" The tentacle stopped midway, and the man stared at Bai Shijue with widened eyes. "H—How could you—"

"I gave you a chance," Bai Shijue said with a cold look in his eyes. The man staggered. Fresh blood came out of his heart since it was pierced clean from his chest to his back.

He looked at Bai Shijue hatefully and then screamed, "I WILL NOT DIE ALONE! RAAARRGHH!"

The masked man did his last struggle by attacking Bai Shijue with his remaining power with that giant tentacle. Bai Shijue was about to move and dodge, but Pupa suddenly chanted its skill.

"Code 23: Seraph Sphere."

Pupa created a transparent sphere that enclosed them. The sphere was strong enough to survive the big tentacle attack. Even when getting hit, the tentacle was the one who got split in two. 

The man was shocked because his last attack could be split into two without any visible effort from Bai Shijue. 

"How could this be…."

Bai Shijue stared at the masked man and said, "Your leader is no match for me, let alone an amateur kid like you."
