The mysterious man cackled and snapped his fingers. Han Shun was sent under a tree that had been marked red.

"Ahahahaha! So funny!" Han Ye laughed continuously as he felt that Han Shun was so ridiculous. No matter how many times he played with this kid, his reaction was still the best out of the bunch. 

But of course, Han Ye knew that Han Shun would give the best reaction because Han Shun was part of him. 

"Hahaha… haha…" Han Ye's laugh dissipated once he remembered that Han Shun— despite being the most inexperienced, also held the strongest potential out of all the soul shards that Han Ye had.

"Obviously, because he is my wife's first love…." Han Ye told himself. Yet, he still couldn't accept that Bai Yunyu didn't fall in love with him first. Even at this point, he still didn't know if Bai Yunyu actually loved him or if it was all just a pretense to trap him again. 

"Well, whatever happens with them… the result will always be the same anyway. I will never let Bai Yunyu leave me anymore, not after the countless times he tortured and tormented me."

Han Ye looked down at the demonic sect under him, and he scoffed, "Han Shun should've realized that everything is nothing but dust. We are above them all."

Han Ye's body dispersed into hundreds of purple butterflies and they flew towards the light pillar, where his wife was experiencing the heavenly punishment right now.

Bai Yunyu fainted after being unable to bear the pain of tribulation. He floated in a dark space without any voice around him. But then, he felt someone hug him from behind.

The hug was warm and full of tenderness, something Bai Yunyu hadn't felt for a long time. 

"Open your eyes, Wife."

Bai Yunyu heard a familiar voice whispering in his ear. He opened his eyes slowly to see the man who was embracing him right now. 

Bai Yunyu's eyes widened when he saw the man he loved so much embracing him tenderly. 

"Han Ye… Gege…" Bai Yunyu couldn't believe his eyes, and this scene was definitely something out of his dream. "Wait, this is a dream, right? I think I fainted because of the tribulation, and you're also the stuff of my dream?"

"Yes, I am just a dream," Han Ye replied, a warm smile lingering on his lips. 

"Ahh…" Bai Yunyu sighed pitifully. "Well, I guess I can have you all for myself in this dream."

"Yes, I'm all yours, Yunyu. It's always been like that since the beginning of time, the time that we created together," Han Ye said.

"Together?"

"Mhm, don't think too much about it. You'll finally realize it in the end," Han Ye said. "Let's just enjoy the moment. It's been a long time since I can embrace you again, Wife."

"Gege…"

"Don't call me Gege for now. Call me Husband…."

"… Husband…"

"Yes?" Han Ye's mood improved when Yunyu called him husband, a simple title he had longed for so long. 

"Husband, why were you so evil to me? You hurt me so much that I'm now traumatized to even love you. I don't think I can rest well in your embrace like this if we're not in the dream world," Bai Yunyu said. He sounded pitiful as if he was about to cry.

"I love you too, Wife," Han Ye replied. "I love you so much that I can't control myself. It's almost maddening…."

"But all the things I did… it's because you started it. You see me as a monster. You always told me that I'm a monster. Even after we had a son together, you still see me as something that has no right to love or be loved…."

"I tried my best to change your mind to no avail…."

"So you turned me into a monster in the end, and I followed your order. If you want me to be the thing you feared the most, then so be it…." Han Ye replied. He hugged Yunyu tighter, burying his face in Yunyu's shoulder. "As long as I can have you, I don't care whatever it takes, Yunyu."

"… I… called you a monster before? But… but I love you so much, Husband!" Yunyu insisted. "Even after what you've done to me, I still love you! I would never call you a monster!"

"I'm glad that you think that way, Wife. I really wish that we could start anew. I hope that you will say that when we first met…." Han Ye said. 

Han Ye gently pinched Yunyu's chin and kissed his lips. 

Yunyu was startled, but soon he allowed Han Ye Gege, his husband, to savor the taste of his lips.

Yunyu closed his eyes, enjoying the moment even if it was only in a dream. 

They opened their eyes after they kissed and stared at each other with such a loving gaze, something that Yunyu thought would be impossible even if he transmigrated into so many worlds.

"Yes, he needs your presence so much. Just make sure that he will fit your expectation. Fly to the light above us, and you will return to the reality."

"Alright, I will leave now! I hope I can meet you again, my dream Han Ye Gege!" Bai Yunyu flew to the light and disappeared, leaving Han Ye alone.
