Bai Shijue and Han Shun stood in front of the Forest of Lost Mist. The mist was unusually thick tonight. Even with their Golden core, both Bai Shijue and Han Shun couldn't see the forest.

This was dangerous. Bai Shijue knew that. When the mist was especially thick, the celestial beasts were gathering around somewhere. 

Bai Shijue could kill them all with ease, of course. But this wasn't his test. It was Han Shun's test.

He gave Han Shun a side-eye, hoping the young man would get scared a little, and decided to return to the residence. They could always start the trial later when the mist had dissipated.

Bai Shijue walked silently right beside him. He was already well prepared in case Han Shun got himself in danger. 

"Bai Gege, what would we do once we arrived at the gate to the other side?" Han Shun asked to pass the time.

"I will bring you to my sect, and I will cultivate you until you're on par or even better than me," Bai Shijue replied.

"Impressive," Bai Shijue praised. He pulled Han Shun's blindfold so Han Shun could also see the majestic gate. 

"Wah… it's so cool…." Han Shun commented on the spot. The gate was made out of white jade, and there was a placate on each pillar written differently:

'Nothing' on the left pillar, and 'Righteous' on the right. 

But if it was grouped as one, it would be.

It was such a weird sentence for a place where all the righteous cultivators lived. But Han Shun didn't care. Now that he had reached this place, he could live with Bai Gege!

Han Shun turned his head towards Bai Gege, "Bai Gege, does that mean I pass the test? I can live with you, only the two of us, right?!"

Bai Shijue smiled and patted Han Shun's head, "Yes, you passed the test. You can live with me, but we have to prepare—"

"Yes, he is a legendary celestial beast. That chipmunk can teleport us into a dangerous situation. But I didn't bring him with us because I'm afraid he'll wander off again."
