'Hehe, try to defeat this one quickly, or Bai Shijue will die in less than 30 minutes,' God Han Ye said in Han Shun's head.

Han Shun gritted his teeth. God Han Ye was actually setting him up with a time limit. He didn't know if this was actually a test, but he had to make sure that he could kill this boar in less than 30 minutes. 

Han Shun was confident at first. He summoned water tentacles by absorbing the water from trees and launched all of them to catch the charging boar.

But the steel tusk obliterated any kind of wall or net made out of water or ice, making any of his attacks ineffective.

'Damn it, I can't catch the boar as well. It is just too brute when charging!'

Han Shun still has a trick on his sleeve. He saw the boar was charging toward him, and he quickly patted the ground twice. 

The boar was approaching him, but the moment the boar's tusk almost touched Han Shun, Han Shun turned the ground into a small lake, and the boar plunged underwater. 

"FREEZE!" 

Han Shun tapped the water again, and the boar froze underwater. 

Han Shun took a deep breath after spending a lot of time battling this one beast. 

God Han Ye returned to Han Shun and talked inside his head, 'Good, you're so smart just by using one element. Makes me wonder what can you do when I give you a lot more in the future, hehe….' Han Ye chuckled.

'SHUT UP! Tell me how to find Bai Gege! I need to save him now!' Han Shun demanded. 

'You will not be able to locate him, not until you use my eyes,' Han Ye replied.

'Your eyes?'

'Yes, it's a pair of violet eyes that will let you see through an invisible thing. The goo will go into hiding after getting its meal. That's why you can't locate it.'

Han Shun hesitated for a moment. He knew there must be something fishy with this offer. There was no way God Han Ye would be so generous.

But he was in a pinch right now. He estimated that he had lost at least 15 minutes fighting that boar, so he had to make a quick decision. 

'Fuck, fine then. Just give me whatever. I can't forgive myself if something happened to Bai Gege!' 

'Heh, good choice.'

God Han Ye stood behind Han Shun and covered the young man's eyes with his palm for a few seconds before he disappeared.

Han Shun opened his eyes slowly, and he instantly felt the change when he could see everything clearly, including the location of Bai Gege. The goo was hiding behind a big tree. 

Also, Bai Gege had such a pure heart, so his body shone like an angel even when hidden inside a black goo. With this God Han Ye's sight, the only light he could see in this pure mist and darkness was only Bai Gege. 

Han Shun also realized one thing when using God Han Ye's eyes. He could literally command things with his eyes. He just needed to think about it, and it happened.

He saw a tree that became the hiding place of the goo, so he looked at it for a second, and it just disappeared into nothingness. 

Han Shun saw the goo had eyes similar to slime. So he snapped his finger, and the goo disappeared with the help of Master Han Ye's eyes. 

After the goo disappeared, Bai Shijue laid weakly on the ground. His body was covered with sticky goo, but he didn't suffer any visible injury.

Han Shun quickly checked on Bai Gege and cleaned his face, "Bai Gege! Bai Gege, answer me!"

"Huh?" Bai Shijue opened his eyes slowly. He was unconscious for a good while, and once he regained his vision, the first thing he saw was... darkness.

Bai Shijue saw a man covered in pure darkness that made him unidentifiable. Bai Shijue could only see a pair of violet eyes looking down at him. The moment their eyes met, Bai Shijue instinctively put his palm on the man's chest and unleashed an energy beam.

BOOM!

"AHHH!" The man was thrown away by the energy beam. Bai Shijue fully regained consciousness when he heard the familiar voice coming from the darkness.

"B—Bai Gege?!"

"Ah, Han Shun!" 

Bai Shijue got up from the ground and ran towards Han Shun. He got confused when the darkness suddenly disappeared, and he only saw Han Shun writhing in pain.

Han Shun looked up towards Bai Gege, scared and confused, "Bai Gege, why?"

Strange, Bai Shijue thought he saw a man covered with darkness and sharp violet eyes that seemed to be looking at him obsessively. As if the darkness wanted to swallow him whole. 

But he shook his head immediately and hugged Han Shun, "I'm sorry, Han Shun. I thought you're an enemy."

"Bai Gege, I will never be your enemy, ugh…." Han Shun felt his body was burning from inside. Bai Gege's energy beam hit him straight in the chest. If it wasn't for Master Han Ye's power, he doubted he would survive. 

"Hold on, Han Shun. Let me heal you."

Bai Shijue hugged Han Shun tightly and then closed his eyes, sending his own energy toward Han Shun. The young man's internal injury was healed in about 2 minutes.

Han Shun was in pain, but his pain instantly dissipated when Bai Gege hugged him tightly. All he could feel was comfort, so he rested his head on Bai Gege's shoulder until Bai Gege finished healing him.

Bai Shijue separated himself and checked on Han Shun after he was fully healed.

Han Shun looked at Bai Gege with such a betrayed puppy look that made Bai Shijue feel even more guilty, "Bai Gege, I was fighting that giant golden rattlesnake and a giant boar with steel tusk before I can save your life from a man-eating goo."

"I was so worried about you, but why would you attack me with such a powerful attack? Did I do something wrong?"
