Chapter 889: 15.106

The day of Han Shun and Bai Shijue's departure finally came. Han Shun was ready in the early morning, and Han Min also prepared everything instructed by Master Bai.

Han Min and Han Shun met in the courtyard while waiting for Bai Shijue to finish the preparation inside his room.

Han Min immediately lowered his head to show respect to Young Master Han, while Han Shun looked down at him as if looking at a bug, "You know that you have no more chance to seduce Bai Gege after this, right? Because Bai Gege and I will leave to the immortal realm."

Han Min still didn't understand why would Young Master Han thought of such an idea. He never thought about seducing Master Bai because he knew that Master Bai was already in love with Young Master Han for a long time.

"I hope Young Master Han treats Master Bai well…" Han Min said.

"Hah! Of course, I will! I will make sure nobody hurt my Bai Gege, and I will marry—"

"What's with the commotion here?" Bai Shijue interrupted them, and Han Shun zipped his mouth instantly.

"It's nothing, Bai Gege! Let's go. I can't wait to see the immortal sect!"

Bai Shijue ignored Han Shun and walked toward Han Min. He patted Han Min's head and smiled, "Han Min, I want you to take care of this residence, okay? Remember, this is your residence now, you can start a family here, and you don't need to worry about money."

"I just want you to protect what's yours and do the righteous thing," Bai Shijue said.

Han Min got emotional as he realized that he might never be able to see Master Bai— the man who saved him from the abyss of child prostitution. Master Bai was basically his guardian angel.

Han Min's eyes started pooling with tears, "Master Bai, I will never forget you. I will put an altar to worship you every day."

"You don't need to worship me—"

"But I want!"

Bai Shijue sighed. He took something from his sleeve and handed it to Han Min, "This is the last gift I can give you. It's a white jade that I kept as a healing stone. Use this when you're in dire need or dying of a terrible wound. It will heal you instantly."

"T—Thank you, Master Bai!" Han Min hugged the white jade to his chest tightly. He had no plan of using it, but he would definitely put this on an altar to worship Master Bai every day.

"Take care of yourself, Han Min. We will leave now," Bai Shijue said. He finally looked at Han Shun, whose face was written with jealousy all over.

Bai Shijue grabbed Han Shun's hand, making Han Shun jolt a little, "B—Bai Gege?!"

"Hm? What? We're going to fly as fast as possible. I don't want to lose you on our way to the gate."

"Y—Yes, I was just a little surprised," Han Shun replied. It had been a while since Bai Gege held his hand so tightly. The last time he remembered this was when he was a kid, and Bai Gege continued reminding him not to wander around, or he would get lost.

Han Shun and Bai Shijue flew towards the Forest of Lost Mist. Bai Shijue didn't want to walk around the forest to get to his destination, so he dashed through the forest until they reached the gate to the immortal realm.

Han Shun and Bai Shijue stood in front of the realm, "Touch the gate, just like what you did before."

Han Shun followed the instruction, and the engraving changed into;

Yùn yù de ài.

The mist covering the gate cleared instantly, and Han Shun saw the light moving at such high speed towards them from the other side of the gate.

The light reached the gate and transformed into a human. He was a handsome middle-aged man wearing a blue robe and holding a long sword.

The man put down his sword in front of Bai Shijue and kowtowed, "Master, it's been a while."

Bai Shijue smiled, "No need to kowtow. You're doing too much in front of my disciple."

The middle-aged man got up and stared at Han Shun from head to toe, "This young man is your new disciple, right? His name is Han Shun."

"Yes."

The middle-aged man looked at Han Shun, but he didn't show the same courtesy as he greeted Bai Shijue, "My name is Bo Pengfei. I am Master Bai's direct disciple and right-hand man before he has to go to the mortal realm."

"My name is Han Shun. I am… Master Bai's disciple too," Han Shun introduced himself.

Bo Pengfei nodded as he shrugged it off and focused on Master Bai again, "Master Bai, I've cleared the path. There is no enemy nor beasts until we reach the sect."

"Good, thank you, Pengfei."

Bai Shijue opened his palm and summoned a white mask. He put on the mask and covered his face with only his eyes visible for Han Shun to see.

"Bai Gege, why are you wearing a mask?" Han Shun asked. "Should I wear one too?"

"No, it's just my way to protect myself."

"Protect yourself?"

Bai Shijue and Bo Pengfei looked at each other. Pengfei explained, "Master Bai has to cover his face because there have been many instances of many male cultivators turning into madmen as they were crazy in love with Master Bai."

"Huh? But I saw Bai Gege's face every day, and many people saw it too! He is gorgeous, but he doesn't make anyone crazy in love!" Han Shun insisted. He felt it was weird for Bai Gege to wear such a mask to cover his beautiful face.

"That's because you didn't see my real face, Han Shun," Bai Shijue replied.

"WHAT?!"

"Yes, the face I use in the mortal realm is a face I borrowed from someone. It's not my real appearance, and nobody should know about it, including you."
