"Go to my courtyard, Han Shun," Bai Shijue ordered. He turned around and flew back to his courtyard, leaving Han Shun alone, surrounded by the judging eyes of the participants and the elders of various sects.

Everyone stared at him like a monster, and Man Zhang pointed his fingers at him, "You— You are trying to kill me! I would never try to kill you in a fair fight!" 

"Yeah! How could Master Bai teach a scoundrel like him?!"

Han Shun heard everything, and he slowly got agitated as he knew well that Man Zhang was also trying to kill him with his attacks. 

'He definitely wants to kill you just now,' Master Han Ye said in Han Shun's head. 'He will act like killing you is accidental, but he definitely has a killing intent.'

'I know,' Han Shun replied, and he clenched his fist. 'That's why I went with the same killing intent to that bastard. But apparently, I'm in the wrong here.'

Han Shun took a deep breath to control himself. He turned around and left the training ground, following Bai Gege to his courtyard.

Bai Shijue sat on top of a floating lotus, playing with his Guqin while waiting for Han Shun to come. 

[Pupa: What are you going to do with that kid? You know that he won fair and square, right? Despite his killing intent, I think he is just giving the same energy back to Man Zhang.]

Han Shun arrived at the courtyard and saw Bai Gege playing with his Guqin. Han Shun lowered his head but didn't want to kneel as he felt that he wasn't wrong.

Bai Shijue stopped playing with his Guqin and looked down at Han Shun, "Han Shun, do you know what you did wrong?"

"I don't," Han Shun replied boldly but still lowered his head obediently. "I fought and defeated that man fair and square. I did nothing wrong."

"You have an intention of killing Man Zhang," Bai Shijue corrected him. "And it's wrong."

"It's not wrong when he is the one who started it, Bai Gege! He wants to kill me first!" Han Shun yelled. 

"Even so, you have no right to kill him," Bai Shijue said. 

"Why not?!"

"Because you're my disciple," Bai Shijue explained gently, despite Han Shun, who had already got emotional. "Raise your head, Han Shun."

Han Shun raised his head and saw Bai Gege looking at him. Han Shun thought that Bai Gege would be mad and showed an angry expression.

But Bai Shijue had a smile, "I'm not angry at you, Han Shun. I just don't want you to make a mistake. In fact, I'm proud of you for being able to win your first Loom Forest Hunting and also defeating Man Zhang in a fair match."

"But you're still my disciple. I do not want you to kill unless you really need to. You can unarm that man and bind him in any way, making sure that he is trapped. But killing because of rage is not correct."

Han Shun lowered his head slowly. Now, he felt ashamed because he had to be lectured by Bai Gege over such a trivial thing. 

Of course, he was the disciple of Bai Shijue, the symbol of righteousness. He had to be righteous and magnanimous in many situations.

"I'm sorry, Bai Gege…." Han Shun apologized. 

'Huh? It's so easy to change your mind, kid,' Han Ye commented inside Han Shun's head. 

'No, I didn't change my mind. I still want to kill those bastards,' Han Shun replied. 'But I regret ever showing my real skin to Bai Gege. It must've been hard for him to scold me since I am his one and only disciple.'

'Ah, that makes sense, haha!' Master Han Ye seemed to be more than happy after hearing that Han Shun had no remorse for those people. He was just remorseful because he showed such an ugly side of him right in front of his Bai Gege. 

'It's fine, kid. You can kill them one by one in the future, just like what you did to those twenty cultivators in the Loom Forest before. Just make sure that Bai Shijue doesn't see your ugly side, and you'll be alright,' Master Han Ye said. 

'Yes, I understand.'

Master Han Ye was pretty much satisfied with Han Shun's growth. This was what he wanted. He wanted to shape Han Shun to be just like him, a monster that loves Bai Yunyu, a monster that should be exterminated by his loved one.

After all, it was all that they did for millennia, was it not?

After God Han Ye left his head, Bai Gege hopped from his lotus and hugged Han Shun tightly, "You made me proud, Han Shun. I will reward you with Phoenix elixir and other things later."
