"Huweeeee! Pupaaaa, my cute maiden heart has been brokennn!!"

Pupa rolled its mechanical eyes, "Good thing Han Shun cannot see your face, or he might die laughing instead."

"HUWEEEE!" Bai Yunyu cried even harder. He returned to his courtyard while sobbing ugly.

"Squee?"

Chinchin was worried when he saw his Master crying and returning to his room. 

"Squee? Squee?" Chinchin jumped to the window to check on Master Bai. He saw Master Bai was crying until his eyes were puffy, and snot came out of his nostrils. 

"Squee? SQUEE!?"

Bai Yunyu saw Chichin perching on the windowsill. He snatched the little chipmunk and nuzzled with him, effectively using Chinchin as his face wipe.

"Chinchiinnn, wuwuwu, Han Shun is so mean to me. How could he betray me like this? After what I did for him for so long, after what we've been through together!"

Pupa materialized again and circled around Yunyu, who couldn't stop crying dramatically. 

"Come on, it's not the worst thing ever."

"It is the worst thing that ever happened!" Yunyu insisted. "I thought this world could be easy, where I can finally end my journey with peace. I thought there was nothing wrong with him."

"But now that the cat is out of the bag, I don't think I want to continue..."

"Do you want to restart?" Pupa asked, and Yunyu nodded weakly as he continued whimpering like a kid;

"I will try to watch him even more with the new restart. I don't think I can't continue acting like this when Han Shun has been out of the path. There is no point in doing this," Yunyu said

"But this is such a long word. Do you want to reset?" Pupa asked again, and Bai Yunyu nodded for the second time. 

"Why are you asking me twice, Pupa? Don't you see what a mess I am right now?"

Pupa sighed, "Well, I don't think we can do that for now. Since you or Han Shun need to die before we can restart."

"Then, can I kill myself now?"

"You're literally the second strongest immortal in this world. You cannot die unless you got killed by an immortal stronger than you," Pupa explained. 

"And who is this immortal stronger than me? I will go to him and ask him to kill me."

"That would be the God of Nothingness. He is the strongest being in the universe and should also be the one who created this world."

"Eh?! That evil god Han Shun is in contact with?!"

"Yes," Pupa confirmed. 

"Then, who he is? How am I supposed to meet him?"

"Eh, I don't know about that," Pupa replied.

"Are you joking?"

"I wished."

"GODDAMN IT, PUPA! WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN USELESS?!"

"Speak for yourself, you spicy chicken host. Do you know how much work I must do to fix your mess and return to you in this world?" Pupa protested, not willing to be blamed for this. Besides, Pupa took pride as a 5-star rating system! Albeit only having one host before Yunyu…. Which was also Bai Yunyu.

Now Pupa started thinking about whether it was worth it since it had to stay with Yunyu for eternity. 

"Then, there is still one way to restart, right?" Yunyu asked.

"How?"

"By acting out of character?" Yunyu said.

"Pupa, why do you go silent just now? It's a perfect plan, right? I don't need to kill or get killed, I just need to twerk in front of Han Shun, and we will restart automatically!" Yunyu said.

"I don't think you could, honestly," Pupa replied. "Do you know that Bai Shijue is supposed to be very cold-blooded? There is no way the real Bai Shijue would be nice, sweet, and caring for Han Shun, even if he took the eight-year-old Han Shun. Bai Shijue is the symbol of a righteous path, but he is not a kind individual. He is no different than the God of Nothingness. It's like two different sides of a coin."

Yunyu was stumped right now.

Obviously, he wanted to just restart the whole thing and return to the moment when Han Shun was still eight years old. He wished that he could raise Han Shun differently.

Maybe he was just way too lenient on that kid. He trusted Han Shun too much, not realizing that a young, arrogant, and brash man like Han Shun would often deviate from the path laid in front of him for whatever reason. 

"So, you mean I will be stuck in this world for so long until either Han Shun or I die?" Yunyu asked. 

"Not really. If he can reach 100%, meaning that he would be the strongest entity in this world, the world will be counted as complete," Pupa replied. "Though, to be the strongest, then you have to kill your rival. Now that he is part of the dark side, his rival will be you."

"So he needs to kill me for this world to be completed?" Yunyu asked, and Pupa nodded to confirm. 

Bai Yunyu facepalmed hard, "Now I'm forced to play the waiting game with Han Shun. It will take a while for him to be strong and invade— if he ever thinks of invading, of course."

"Don't worry, he will," Pupa replied. 

"Yeah, knowing Han Shun, he will find a way to meet me again."

Bai Yunyu sighed, full of woe, "I don't know, Pupa. I don't understand what I did wrong? I've raised him well, showing him what it feels like to have someone who cares for you by your side…."
