"I will send a message to you when the item comes. You can return to my realm with the help of your system. I will be waiting here," Han Ye said, giving all the information needed for Yunyu.

Bai Yunyu was a bit suspicious of this evil god's plan. With all the powers he had, he should be able to retrieve both items in less than five seconds.

But Bai Yunyu was the one in need here. He couldn't really demand anything when this evil god who still used the face of Han Ye Gege was the one in charge of the underworld.

"T—Then, I have one more request before I leave," Bai Yunyu said.

"What is it?"

"Can you… return Han Shun to me?"

"Return Han Shun? Hahahahah! That's funny!" Han Ye laughed out loud.

"What's so funny about it? Han Shun is my disciple! I basically raised him since he was only eight years old!" Yunyu insisted.

"Well, I cannot do anything about him. Because he can leave whenever he wants. He's currently training in the underworld," Han Ye replied. "I can bring you to him, but I don't think he wants to see you now, not after you kicked him out."

"So, everything is his choice…." Bai Yunyu was saddened because his beloved disciple had fully left his side. "But I can't blame him. I'm the one who kicked him out in the first place."

'It's all because of the OOC setting, though. I have to kick him out, or the OOC bell from Pupa will ring. Which is funny because I'm totally out of character in front of this evil god right now, but there's no bell or whatsoever,' Yunyu thought.

"If you want to meet him now, I can bring you to him in the underworld," Han Ye offered again.

But this time, Bai Yunyu refused, "I can't face him as much as he can't face me. I feel ashamed of my own failure. But I want to see him again after four years or so. Maybe things will get better as time passes by."

Yunyu always blamed himself for Han Shun's failure, despite numerous explanations from Pupa and even from the evil god himself, that Han Shun was deemed to fail with his arrogance and greed.

Han Ye stared at Bai Yunyu with a smile, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. His gaze darkened, and he was really angry right now.

Because he realized that Bai Yunyu still had this deeper than love feeling for Han Shun. He always loved Han Shun so much that he would blame himself for Han Shun's failure.

Even though it was obviously Han Shun's own fault.

But it was deemed to end like this.

'It always ends the same way, over and over, until you fall into a deep slumber and forget about me again. I've never been the number one in your heart, my wife,' Han Ye said in his heart. 'I know I'm pathetic for wanting to be loved by you. But I will never stop this cycle. I will spend the rest of eternity being hurt over and over if that means I can spend more time with you, my soulmate….'

Bai Yunyu got up from the bed and searched for his robe. He looked around at lost and remembered that God of Nothingness literally made his robe disappear.

He looked at the man lying sideways on the bed, propping his head with one hand, and smirked at Bai Yunyu, "What do you need? You can leave now if you want."

"M—My robe…."

"And what do you need a robe for? You are an immortal and also the most powerful cultivator that existed. You can just make yourself invisible, remember?"

"B—But I've never gone outside without any robe on. Please spare me and give me my robe…." Bai Yunyu whimpered. He had been living as a righteous sect leader for a while in this world, forcing him to adhere to the rule of the world.

"Kiss me if you want your robe back," Han Ye said.

Bai Yunyu pouted as if he had been wronged. But in the end, he pecked the devil's cheek just for his robe.

"That's a little unsatisfactory, but I'll let it slide," Han Ye said. He snapped his fingers, and Bai Yunyu was magically covered with robe again.

"O—Okay, I'm leaving now," Bai Yunyu said.

Han Ye watched as Bai Yunyu walked on water towards the other side of the lake. He had a mischievous grin when asked, "Do you want me to tell Han Shun about your arrival here?"

"DON'T!!" Bai Yunyu turned around and looked at the evil God of Nothingness with panicked eyes. "Please don't tell him anything. This is supposed to be a secret negotiation between you and me. I'm here for that underworld olive and vial of death. He has nothing to do with this!"

Han Ye was obviously displeased with Bai Yunyu's reaction. He was the official husband of Bai Yunyu. Why would he need to hide anything from anyone? It made him feel like they weren't supposed to be together.

But he was already despised by Bai Yunyu, so it was better not to incite more fire between them, at least not now when the main show hadn't started yet.

"Okay, okay, no need to be so panicked about it. I have no interest in starting a drama," Han Ye said, lying through his teeth.

"I will… I will fucking kill you if you told Han Shun about this cooperation between us. This has nothing to do with him!"

"Cooperation? I don't remember ever asking you anything as a trade for my service," Han Ye teased. "I don't think I'll give the items to you without any trade-off."

Bai Yunyu knew that the evil god would sooner or later be asked for something in exchange for his service. Bai Yunyu took a deep breath and asked, "Then, what do you want from me as an exchange?"
