"Who am I? I thought you already knew. After all, you've been trying to touch my soul marble every second.'

The mist started circling around Han Shun's body and gathered in front of Han Shun, forming a body of a man with a similar face to Han Shun-- but with a very pale body, almost like God Han Ye, and also long limbs and fingers.

It gave off the creepy aura of a looming monster that shouldn't exist in the first place. The monster had a wide ear-to-ear smile despite having Han Shun's face, which disturbed Han Shun so much.

"I am the monster who owns that powerful soul bead you want for so long. I have many names as I followed Bai Yunyu from one world to another to help him or at least get his attention. I am Zerocheat, Mamoru Ito, Aaron Xu, Original Lee Yongsun of rage meter world, Xu Jiansheng, Monster Matthew, and lastly, Reed Ville-- though I entered Clarke Gaist's body with the hope that I could finally be together with him."

Han Shun was still trying to process what this monster had just said, "You... visited many worlds?"

"Yes, I am constantly chasing my beloved Bai Yunyu throughout the world until he finally reached my world-- which was the second last world before this," the monster said. "I don't think I need to show you my previous incarnations in other worlds because other souls must've showed it to you. But I can show my world, the fourteenth world, League of Superheroes."

The Monster in mist form opened a portal and lured Han Shun in. The latter didn't hesitate to enter the portal. Once the portal was closed, he was in a uniquely modern family house. It was on top of a skyscraper and was occupied by a family of four.

"Mommy! Arte wants to eat now! I'm so hungryyyy!" The little girl ran towards her Mommy-- who was a man that Han Shun immediately recognized as Bai Gege.

The little girl climbed on her Mommy's leg like a cat wanting to be fed. The male mother chuckled and called his older son, "Hermes, go take your little sister to the living room! Mom is still cooking lunch!"

The boy teleported beside his mother and grabbed the little girl, "Let's go, Arte. Don't bother Mommy. He is still cooking our lunch."

"Wuuu-- I'm so hungry!"

"You can have a snack in the fridge first, and don't make a mess on the carpet," the male mother said.

"Yay, Mommy is the best!" Artemis and Hermes took a chip from the fridge before they returned to the living room.

A while later, a man came out of the bedroom. He had just woken up by the smell of his wife's cooking. He went to the kitchen and hugged his male wife from behind before kissing his nape, "Good morning, wife."

"Clarke, don't bother me. I'm still cooking for the kids. I also woke up a little late today."

"It's fine. I'm sure the kids will understand. You've cared for the family while I'm busy working and defending the city. You deserve a rest as well."

"Well, YOU deserve a rest even more than me. You've been overworked for months. I'll make you something delicious for a dessert today."

"Hehe, my wife is the best, as always."

Han Shun watched the beautiful family in front of him, and his eyes were pooling with tears instantly.

Because he wanted this, he wanted to have a family like this with Bai Gege. But it was impossible because Bai Gege didn't take him at heart. Not even in his world that he could win Bai Gege's heart.

The Monster noticed the sadness in Han Shun's eyes, and he said, "It's a beautiful family, isn't it?"

"Yeah... you're the husband in here, right?"

"Unfortunately, no," the monster said. "This is my world, and I am actually the younger brother of that man who married Gaius-- Bai Yunyu. My name is Reed Ville, and I am the villain that is hated by everyone."

"When I first returned to my original world, the memory of me being the villain that destroyed Bai Yunyu's perfect married life came crashing upon me. I have been the villain who destroyed my beloved Bai Yunyu's wife in the previous world, and I don't want to be the hated villain again."

"So, after I received my consciousness-- as the master of the world, I replaced my body with Clarke Gaist. Now I have two bodies, one with Clarke and one with Reed. Both are me, but the one with full memory of what happened before that world was me in Clarke's body."

"I thought my life with Gaius would be happy now that I've become Clarke Gaist. But you can't really change the wheel of fate in any world. Everything has been predetermined from the start. But at last, I got my happy ending by dying with my Bai Yunyu, even though it was such a short time," the Monster said. He looked at Han Shun and asked;

"Do you know why I finally lowered my guard down, even took the initiative to enter your body instead?"

"I... I don't know...."

"Because I heard you want to meet your Bai Gege again. I have the same experience. I followed him from one world to another in the hope that I could meet him again, and we could finally be together. Though, all of them ended up tragically either by my death or his."

"So, I understand that you want to meet him again. I will grant you that wish, but...."

"But what?" Han Shun asked. He was already so impatient to meet his Bai Gege. Even one day of not seeing his face was already torture for him.

"But you must promise me not to hurt him," the Monster said. "No matter what, you must never thrust your sword towards him-- the real one, I mean, not the meaty one, haha!"
