Bai Yunyu, Chinchin, and Pupa arrived before the Forest of Lost Mist. He entered the forest and walked towards the familiar spot where the secret door leading to that realm was owned by the God of Nothingness.

"Pupa," Yunyu requested, and Pupa knew what he meant.

Pupa used its skill to open the secret door for Bai Yunyu to enter, but the man stood still in front of the door for a while.

"So, you're going in or not?" Pupa asked.

"I will, but I need to say goodbye to our little furry friend first," Bai Yunyu replied. "Chinchin."

"Squee?"

Chinchin popped from Yunyu's sleeve and climbed his arm before sitting on his shoulder, "Squee?"

"Chinchin, I have a feeling this one will be dangerous. I am an immortal, so I'm sure I'll be alright. But I don't want to put you in danger," Bai Yunyu said.

Chinchin seemed to have realized this would be their goodbye. He looked sad and gently nudged his cheek with Yunyu's.

"Squee…"

Bai Yunyu caressed the little chipmunk's head, "Don't worry. I'll find you again if I can get out of this one alive. But if I can't, why don't you go to the mortal realm and just laze around on the plum blossom tree? You can even set up your own home there."

"Squee?!"

"Yes, you can even bring a female chipmunk there if you want. That's your home too, and I guarantee you will be safe there."

"Squee! Squee!" Chinchin was happy.

Truthfully, a powerful celestial beast like Chinchin didn't need that protection.

Despite his small size, he was strong enough to fight even a celestial dragon alone if he wanted to.

But when Master Bai told him that he could claim that plum blossom tree as home, Chinchin finally realized that he didn't need to move from one tree to another just to settle.

Because he had a home now.

"Squee!"

"Do you want to return to that plum blossom tree now?"

"Squee, Squee!"

"Okay then, you may return to Han Min. You know the way back, right?"

"Squee!" Chinchin puffed his chest and jumped from Bai Yunyu's shoulder to the nearest tree.

"Squeee!"

Chinchin continued jumping from one tree to another as he wanted to return to the mortal realm and make a home in that plum blossom tree!

After all, it was a gift from Master Bai!

Bai Yunyu smiled when he saw Chinchin getting farther and farther from his sight. Pupa swirled around Yunyu and asked, "I thought you were confident enough to meet that God of Nothingness."

"I was, until I entered the forest," Yunyu replied. "I sensed that something was not right. Something ominous is coming towards us. I have a bad feeling now, but I'm not quite sure what caused it."

"So you're ready even if you have to die now?"

"Meh, I have to restart anyway. I feel like this world is pretty much unsalvageable. I don't even know what happens with Han Shun right now."

"So you've lost your optimism, huh?"

"No, I just become much more realistic now," Yunyu replied. "Oh well, time to face that evil god. Hopefully he will not do anything unscrupulous to me. Hehe… hehehehe…."

Pupa rolled its mechanical eyes, "I know you want to get fucked by him, right?"

"I mean… well, if he insists, then I guess I have to obey…." Yunyu said, then he tried to defend himself. "B—But that's because I need that vial of the death! If he asked me for sex in exchange for that, I guess I have no choice!"

"Sure," Pupa replied curtly while silently judging this hoe. "You can go in, I will wait here."

"Wait, you're not coming with me?"

"No, I'd rather wait at the entrance, because I don't want to be thrown into a different dimension again," Pupa replied. "Besides, I already know what you're going to do there, so I might as well save my time and read some comic while you get fucked."

"Gee, so vulgar," Bai Yunyu complained. "But alright then, I'll go in. I'll meet you later, Pupa."

Meanwhile, Han Ye was playing with his Guqin when he noticed the presence of two powerful entities heading towards his realm.

He stopped playing his Guqin and waved his sleeve to make the instrument disappear.

He chuckled amusingly once he realized the two powerful men coming in his direction, "Right into my trap."

"Everything has been set, and we shall restart everything once more," Han Ye said. "If you eventually kill me again, that means you've learned nothing, wife. I don't mind repeating this painful cycle, we've done this through centuries anyway."

"GRRRRR!" Han Ye noticed a small earthquake, followed by whirlpools that originated from under the bottom of the lake.

Han Ye laughed it off, "Baishe, stop struggling. I'll release you after I've regained my full power, which will be soon."

"I'll give you a perfect show, because you will see your Master turning insane after killing me! He will regain his memory after seeing my corpse, and he will destroy everything once more!"

"Ahh, this is also my karma. This is what I got for ruining his life. Now he ruined the worlds that we created together! We will all be in ruin!"

Han Ye's eyes were bloodshot. He looked like a madman who had nothing to lose. Han Ye started cackling maniacally, he had experienced this pain over and over, and his wife didn't seem to change at all.

Bai Yunyu still hated him. He would kill Han Ye first, then he would destroy everything and reset the world.

'Again and again. I don't know what I should do, wife,' Han Ye said in his heart while he was still laughing maniacally. He started shedding tears because he knew he would be separated from his wife after such a short reunion.

'Ah, I wish you could pity me a bit. But you want to use me as the villain, so you can play the hero….'
