Bai Yunyu, Chinchin, and Pupa arrived before the Forest of Lost Mist. He entered the forest and walked towards the familiar spot where the secret door leading to that realm was owned by the God of Nothingness.

"Pupa," Yunyu requested, and Pupa knew what he meant.

Pupa used its skill to open the secret door for Bai Yunyu to enter, but the man stood still in front of the door for a while.

"So, you're going in or not?" Pupa asked.

"I will, but I need to say goodbye to our little furry friend first," Bai Yunyu replied. "Chinchin."

"Squee?"

Chinchin popped from Yunyu's sleeve and climbed his arm before sitting on his shoulder, "Squee?"

"Chinchin, I have a feeling this one will be dangerous. I am an immortal, so I'm sure I'll be alright. But I don't want to put you in danger," Bai Yunyu said.

Chinchin seemed to have realized this would be their goodbye. He looked sad and gently nudged his cheek with Yunyu's.

"Squee…"

Bai Yunyu caressed the little chipmunk's head, "Don't worry. I'll find you again if I can get out of this one alive. But if I can't, why don't you go to the mortal realm and just laze around on the plum blossom tree? You can even set up your own home there."

"Yes, you can even bring a female chipmunk there if you want. That's your home too, and I guarantee you will be safe there."

"Everything has been set, and we shall restart everything once more," Han Ye said. "If you eventually kill me again, that means you've learned nothing, wife. I don't mind repeating this painful cycle, we've done this through centuries anyway."

"GRRRRR!" Han Ye noticed a small earthquake, followed by whirlpools that originated from under the bottom of the lake.

Han Ye laughed it off, "Baishe, stop struggling. I'll release you after I've regained my full power, which will be soon."

"I'll give you a perfect show, because you will see your Master turning insane after killing me! He will regain his memory after seeing my corpse, and he will destroy everything once more!"

"Ahh, this is also my karma. This is what I got for ruining his life. Now he ruined the worlds that we created together! We will all be in ruin!"

Han Ye's eyes were bloodshot. He looked like a madman who had nothing to lose. Han Ye started cackling maniacally, he had experienced this pain over and over, and his wife didn't seem to change at all.
