"See? Now you have nowhere to hide from me," Han Ye claimed. "I destroyed your world just like how it was created easily. But worry not, I can always create a new one based on your preference, in case you want to visit a new scenery."

Bai Shijue was in a state of total shock. He treasured his world so much and even vowed to be the protector of that world.

He protected the mortals, led the immortals, and paid respect to his elders- especially his parents, who passed away long ago after deciding living as a pair of immortals wasn't their preference anymore. He visited their graves often to pay tribute.

And the most important was a small house that Han Shun promised him in that world.

Han Shun said that he built a small house only for them at a lakeside. Han Shun claimed the view was amazing, and he couldn't wait to bring Bai Gege.

Unfortunately, Bai Shijue never had the chance to visit the lakeside house, and he would never see his favorite person anymore.

Bai Shijue looked over his shoulder. He glared at Han Ye, who was smiling at him without remorse.

"So, now that you have nowhere to leave and nobody to help. You must stay with me, alright? Just be my good wife and give birth to my child. We will create a happy family."

"Happy family? Hah, what a good joke," Bai Shijue scoffed, laughing at his ridiculous situation. "You destroyed my home, killed my lover, and tricked me into bearing your child. Han Ye, I will forever despise you, you heartless bastard."

"Hahaha, that's cute," Han Ye stared at his new wife lovingly. He had been in love with Bai Shijue for millennia. He believed that Bai Shijue was the only person who wouldn't falter even in the face of the strongest God like him, a trait that only made Han Ye fall in love harder.

"I will make you fall in love with me, Bai Shijue. It's fine if it'll take centuries, or even millenia. You and I shared the title as a God now, we are the true immortals."

"So you will be with me forever, and there is no denying that."

Thus, Han Ye and Bai Shijue spent their time together. In this realm of nothingness, where Bai Shijue felt imprisoned.

His stomach grew bigger as time passed, and he hated every part. He hated that he had to conceive a baby as a man, and he also hated that he had to give birth to another monster.

After all, the father was a murderous, heartless God. Of course, the son would be the same.

But he slowly lowered his guard on the surface, making Han Ye more human than he initially was.

Bai Shijue taught him many things about how to be more human-like and taught him compassion. Han Ye, who was already in love with Bai Shijue from the very start, fell in love even harder, to the point that he was so obsessed with his wife.

He didn't even mind when Bai Shijue asked them to return to that realm where they first met, so they could spend more time there.

Bai Shijue taught Han Ye many things, including playing Guqin, his favorite instrument.

As time passed, Bai Shijue finally gave birth to a son. He looked like his father, the God of Nothingness, Han Ye.

"Look, Wife, he looks so much like me!" Han Ye said proudly as he carried the new baby God. He gently put the baby on Bai Shijue's chest and caressed his wife's hair, "We haven't talked about giving the baby a name. I want his surname to be Han, just like me!"

"Then?" Bai Shijue allowed Han Ye to give this baby a name. After all, he was the one who truly wanted to have this baby.

Han Ye was thinking for a moment and said, "Yuzhong."

"Yuzhong?"

"Mhm."

"Okay then," Bai Shijue looked down and caressed Han Yuzhong's head. "Your name will be Han Yuzhong from now on."

"Yes, he will be the new God of Nothingness after us, so I'd want him to have a regal name befitting of his new position later," Han Ye said.

Bai Shijue frowned, "I thought you're the strongest God."

"I am, but now that I have a Son, I think I'd rather spend eternity with you rather than create and destroy stuff. Yuzhong will take over when he's ready. He will inherit most of my power after all," Han Ye said with a smile. His smile was warm and loving, and he kissed Bai Shijue's forehead with cold lips. "I'm so happy, Wife."

Bai Shijue stared at Han Ye, and he had to admit that Han Ye turned out to be much more human than he expected.

He was a loving husband who would give everything to his wife and newborn son. He also became much more careful and gentle about handling things.

Despite Bai Shijue's initial coldness, Han Ye worked himself until he could crawl inside Bai Shijue's heart, softening him with his care and how he would do anything Bai Shijue asked him to do.

Thus, Bai Shijue also had to admit that the 'Han Shun' he loved lived inside Han Ye's heart. Because oftentimes, Han Ye showed his human-like eagerness, obedience, and devotion to Bai Shijue.

All the traits that Han Shun possessed.

If only he could move on, admit Han Shun was gone, and accept Han Ye as his husband and the 'real' Han Shun.

But he couldn't.

He wouldn't lie that his heart had softened for Han Ye. In fact, he might be in love with him after giving birth to Han Yuzhong.

But he couldn't shake off the hatred in his heart. No matter how much the love for Han Ye grew inside his heart, he still hated him so much.
