Zhao Yun looked around the empty coffee shop and shrugged, "Looks like I'm your only customer for now. Why don't you sit with me and take a rest? There's no harm in that."

Bai Yunyu swallowed his saliva.

It was true.

This man was the only customer he had right now, and to refuse his offer would be very rude. He could still refuse it, of course. But it would be very rude of him, especially when Zhao Yun didn't seem to mean any harm. 

So Bai Yunyu nodded reluctantly, much to Zhao Yun's delight.

"Great! Let's sit there!" Zhao Yun pointed at one table in the middle of the coffee shop. Zhao Yun grabbed his cheesecake and latte, and Bai Yunyu grabbed his cake.

They sat facing each other at the table. Zhao Yun smiled at Yunyu and said, "You should eat the cheese cake, don't be shy."

Yunyu nodded, and he used the small fork to start eating. He couldn't hide his joy when that sweet and sour taste spread in his mouth. It had been a while since the last time he ate good food.

He didn't need to eat food in the previous world because he was immortal, and he didn't have enough money to buy unnecessary food in this world.

So this was a treat for him.

Zhao Yun kept on staring at Yunyu, who was focused on his cheesecake. His eyes were full of warmth, but he kept his hands intertwined under the table to lock himself up, so he wouldn't accidentally touch Yunyu out of instinct. 

Yunyu noticed that Zhao Yun hadn't eaten his cake or drunk his latte at all. So he lifted him up and pointed at Zhao Yun's food with his chin, "You should drink the latte first at least. The ice will melt soon, and it won't be sweet anymore."

Zhao Yun nodded. There was a warm feeling in his heart. 

Just the thought of Bai Yunyu caring for his well-being and everything he did was enough to give him euphoria.

Zhao Yun drank his latte and asked, "Are you here full time?"

Yunyu shook his head, "Part time. I have to go to the university."

"Actually…" Zhao Yun put his latte on the table and then leaned forward, resting his elbow on the table, and stared straight at Yunyu. "I've checked your exam paper, it seems that you're taking Pharmacy."

Yunyu stopped munching his cheesecake and swallowed it hard, "I—Is that so?"

"I don't know why you are trying to hide it from me," Zhao Yun sighed. "There's no harm in telling me that you're taking Pharmacy."

"W—We're not that close," Yunyu said. He lowered his head shamefully. 

"Well, I hope you can trust me more. I thought we're sort of acquaintances now, right?" Zhao Yun said, and Yunyu nodded. "Anyway, I checked your exam paper, and you have a perfect score for all subjects. You're the second one to reach this perfect score, and the board wants to give you a full scholarship for it."

"There is someone else other than me?"

"Yes, but he already graduated," Zhao Yun cleared his throat. "That person is me."

"Ah—" Bai Yunyu couldn't shake off the weirdness in his heart.

Of course, it was entirely possible for someone to reach a perfect score like him, though, judging by how difficult the test was. That person needed to be gifted since birth or simply a God with endless knowledge like him.

Yunyu felt the man in front of him could be his husband, Han Ye.

But at the same time, he found it impossible for Han Ye Gege not to just destroy the world and kidnap him again. 

Yunyu stared at Zhao Yun for a while and then asked, "May I know why you are so overly familiar to me?"

"Huh?" The question caught Zhao Yun off guard. "What do you mean?"

"We barely know each other, and I don't think a busy man like you has all the time to take care of me. So please, if you need something from me, just say it now," Yunyu said.

Zhao Yun was speechless by Yunyu's directness. He was trying to soften their relationship first, but it seemed that Yunyu didn't want that.

Zhao Yun scratched his cheek awkwardly, "Well, I'm not sure how to say this, but please don't get offended. When I first saw you in that garden, I thought that you looked very lonely, as if you're longing for someone deeply."

"At that moment, I just want to sit next to you, so I can accompany you," Zhao Yun said. "Then I see that you're taking Pharmacy major and had a perfect score, so I get interested."

"Then I accidentally found this new coffee shop and saw you from the glass pane. You work so hard and seem to be in a solace. I want to leave you alone at first, but there is something in my heart telling me to just come in and accompany you."

"Sweet!" Zhao Yun got excited when Yunyu said yes. "Well, you don't need to call me Zhao Yun then, just call me Zhao Ge or Yun GeGe."
