Days passed.

Every day a new academy is conducting an examination and Sam is attending them all. Along with him at least one other member from Dusk who is in Divine Plane is attending the examination. Sam is quitting but one member from Dusk is accepting the test.

While this process is going on many people started hating and resenting Sam.

They tried to stop him from attending some exams, but they couldn't get a hold of him. Even the people who sneaked into the inn disappeared without a trace. Some even speculated that Sam already belonged to some other academy and he is just trying to piss off the rest to dishonor them.

In a way their speculation is right.

But Sam has way more planned than just some dishonor.

While Sam is doing all of this, something else is going on in his mind. He is sure that the Demi-gods he came across in the tasks  belong to these Olympus academies. So, they should at least have a fleeting knowledge of who Sam was.

But it seems like none of the juniors know who Sam is.

They are just treating him like any other newcomer that comes to this world.

That could only mean one thing. These Demi gods and the gods didn't inform these people about Sam. This is actually a great benefit for Sam as his plans would progress much more smoothly.

He just decided to not think over it too much.

A day before the entrance exam of Zeus academy, Sam arrived at the restaurant to talk with Nalan about something. But of course, Nalan insisted that Sam has a meal there.

So, he took a table and waited as one dish after another was served there.

The waiter is the same one as Sam's first visit.

"Hello Sir, the whole city is talking about your feats. I must say, you surprised me more and more."

Sam smiled and looked at him up and down before asking.

"How is the wine?"

The young man's eyes lit up and said.

"The best I ever had. I actually wanted to talk to you about it."

"What is it?"

"I heard that you made a deal with our boss. Is that wine also part of that deal?"

"Nope. The two wines that I gave you are not part of that deal. There are a bunch of other wines that I gave him though. Why do you ask?"

Sam asked with a knowing smile.

There is a reason why Sam gave this guy those wines and it is purely for his amusement. He liked this kid who is looking for opportunities in everything.

When Sam first revealed the wine, the first thing he saw in this kid's eyes is the excitement of finding something valuable. The major desire for him is not to taste it, but to see if he can acquire it and sell it.

That is why Sam gave him those two wines to see if he would continue contact with Sam and try to gain that opportunity.

"Why Sir? Are you not selling it?" The waiter asked in confusion.

"Of course, I am going to, but those two wines are not of the best quality within their respective categories. They rank well in the middle and the deal with your boss is mostly about the items on the top of the list."

"Then what about the items in the middle and the bottom?"

"What about them?" Sam said with a smile as he twirled the glass on the table.

The waiter clenched his fists and his heart is racing faster with every second. The words are on the tip of his tongue but he is hesitating to say them out.

After three minutes of silence from both parties, he finally opened his mouth.

"I want to sell your wine."

"You want to make it and sell it or distribute it?"

"I don't have the means to make it right now. As you said, I can understand why the lesser quality ones within your list might not go well with the boss' menu.

But they are not exactly of bad quality, they are of better quality than ninety percent of wines available in this land. If you have stock, I can sell it for you.

I will make deals with the restaurants and make you sure that you can get the maximum profit, and you can give me a cut from the profits."

Sam smiled at him.

He took out a spatial ring and said.

"I have a lot of stock. You have the manufacturing costs of all the wine within that ring along with the wine.

You will also find the unique properties of each wine. I just need ten percent on the manufacturing costs. If you can sell the wine to a higher rate, you can keep the extra."

The waiter was shocked.

"You mean, if I can sell the wine for twice the price of its making cost…"

"Then you can keep all profits except for the making cost and an ten percent of the making costs."

"But why? It would be  a loss for you."

"Because I can. Wealth is not my goal at this point. In fact, it has never been much of a goal. It was always a means to an end and whenever I try to meet that end, I involuntarily generate way too much wealth.

Just think of it as me humoring myself by encouraging a kid like you. Go ahead and do whatever you want."

Sam just waved his hand as if he didn't just hand over a treasure trove.

"I am Shun by the way. I am glad to be working with you."

"Sam."

"Okay Sir, Boss said he created a new stew and wants your opinion on it. Please wait, I will just get it to you."

"Thanks."

As the kid left, Sam saw another familiar face.

Pearl walked and didn't even bother to ask before she took a seat in front of Sam. She looked at the large spread of dishes on the table and said.

"You are indeed a VIP at this restaurant. Look at the spread. I am sure none of these are available on the menu. Can I try some?"

"No."

Sam said decisively and picked a dish to start eating.

"That is very cold. Is that how you treat a lady?"

"Yes."

He didn't even hesitate to answer.

Pearl pouted for a moment and sighed.

"Anyway, I have been watching your performance in all the academies. I must say, you gave one surprise after another."

"A kid already told me the same thing. I know what I did."

"Of course. You must know what you did. Otherwise you would be the biggest idiot to ever exist in the universe."

"I am not an idiot."

  "I know."

"So only one entrance exam is left among the Olympus academies. The Zeus academy, are you interested in this academy that much? You even rejected offers from every elite academy. Including Hades and Poseidon's academy."

"You just have to wait and see."

"I advise you, you better take the admission in the Zeus academy. Particulalry after you rejected other Olympus academies. This is the only way out for you.

If by any chance you don't get into Zeus academy, the rest of the academies would have no qualms of hunting you down even if you go to an academy in a different region."

"I am sure we are not close enough to show concern to each other and I am even more sure that I never asked for your advice. So, if you will excuse me I would like enjoy my lunch in peace."

"Come on, every single man of your age would beg to treat me to lunch. And here you are telling me to get lost to have lunch. Do you even know what my true status is? Do you know what winning my favor might mean?"

"I don't know. Honestly, don't care. In my opinion, the after taste of the marrow soup I am having right now is worth much more than any favor that you could give me."

"You are way too arrogant for a guy who is backed into a corner. Maybe you are just stupid. You do know that other academies might not even take you in, even if you offer yourself to them, right?

Even the gambler academy which is known to accept the most eccentric bunch wouldn't take you in. Whichever academy that takes you in, will become the enemy of every Olympian academy. No one would risk it for just one genius.

After all, this whole realm is full of geniuses and every single day, the number of those geniuses is increasing."

She stood up and gave Sam a deep look before going out.

Rain is waiting for her outside along with his group. Now he is her unofficial lackey in the academy.

"He…"

"Every genius is a stubborn fool to a certain extent. He is no exception. Let's go."

"Where are we going?"

"To greet another stubborn fool."
