Bloody Chariot looked at the Contribution board with narrowed eyes.

There are a bunch of things listed on there and he couldn't even understand ninety percent of them.

One of them is, 'Usage of Ultra-violet rays in Dialysis of blood to rid of a Parasitic Micro-organism targeted at Red Blood Cells'

This is a theory and a practical application submitted by Sam. Bloody Chariot felt that this sentence is wrong on so many levels.

What the fuck is Ultra-violet ray? Is it a truly dark violet colored ray?

What the heck is dialysis?

He knew what a parasite is and what an organism is, but is a parasitic microorganism? How does it look like?

The only thing he properly understood was the Blood cells.

He scratched his head in the confusion. The joy and the smile that came with it for coming to this contribution board has completely vanished at the moment. He felt like an idiot looking at the theories. And the first one is the least complicated one, he has seen so far.

When he looked at the price of that contribution, he wanted to smash the wall right then and there.

Bloody Chariot has been patient and cool-headed in dealing with everything since the time he stepped foot into this scenario. But now, he has an urge to smash his fist into this contribution board. Just how could some theory cost that much?

He couldn't wrap his head around it.

He took out a spatial ring and gave it to the attendant standing nearby.

"For the coins in there, buy me different things from this wall. I can see that there are theories, blueprints and even some techniques. Buy me a good mixture of all three. Just keep the techniques quantity a tad bit higher."

Bloody Chariot didn't even want to bother taking a deeper look at the titles. He is unable to understand them. But looking at the large number of coins displayed right beside the title, he knew that it is definitely not some trashy thing.

Even if he couldn't believe the incomprehensible titles, he could believe the appraisal of the Academy realm. It is controlled by the laws of the universe after all.

He collected as many as he could and went back to the Zeus Academy.

Only then did he see the commotion in the Academy.

He soon realized what happened.

He sighed and looked at the seniors.

"That kid is stronger than all of your combined. Don't go around making fools of yourself. Even the Shadow cavalry couldn't do shit to those walls. What are you even trying to achieve by doing that?

You should have used those last few brain cells to look at the contract properly before signing it."

He just said those words and went back to his office. He decided to isolate himself and study these things. Even if he is beaten to death, he wouldn't believe that the incident of the exchange center closure and the Hub are not related.

So, he decided find more about the culprit behind by studying whatever that is in those theories and techniques.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Bloody Chariot looked at the door with a sigh. Christos stood there with pursed lips and a nervous posture. He almost didn't dare to even stand straight there in front of Bloody Chariot.

"What is it now?" Bloody Chariot asked impatiently. He clearly wanted to see what is in these theories that he bought with so many coins.

"There is something that I would like to discuss with you. I think this could be used to establish a link between Sam and the Hub."

Bloody Chariot's interest is finally picked.

He gestured for Christos to come in and take a seat.

After Christos did that, he spoke.

"When Pearl laid down the plan to take down Sam, she asked me for people from the Noble league families.

I contacted ten families and established contact between them and her. These ten families have one thing in common, they are decently ranked in the Noble league, in terms of strength and influence. However, that influence didn't have enough actual authority at the right places.

They don't have much influence on the Battlefronts of Gods and in the Academy realm. I baited them with those two.

Of course, Pearl also used her father's help to make them agree."

He paused and looked at Bloody Chariot. After confirming that he is listening intently he spoke further.

"Thalassa family is one of them. The followers of the Poseidon.

Sam ended the whole thing in a massacre and the rest of the shit started from that moment.

And recently I received news that the Thalassa family has been destroyed overnight."

Bloody Chariot frowned. This made things much more serious and interesting at the same time.

"What happened to them?" He asked.

"From the information, the Shadow Cavalry has been spotted in the Thalassa territory and they are going around destroying every single lair big and small. All of the main members died. In fact, not just main members, anyone with significant influence in the family has died.

And the way the cavalry is going they might just stop only after killing every single member with Thalassa bloody."

Bloody Chariot leaned back into the chair and looked at Christos with a raised eyebrow.

Christos felt a bit embarrassed and said.

"I know what you are thinking. I was the one who mobilized the shadow cavalry. So, the cavalry should only take my orders from now until they reach back to the family and I completely relinquish my control over them.

So, this is definitely not done by any of my family members. And I can assure that you that I haven't done this.

I mobilized the shadow cavalry to only to deal with the Hub and Icarus, but that didn't work.

The Hub captured allof them. You can ask anyone in the city. Almost all of them were at the entrance looking at the hub.

So, I am sure that Hub is the one who did it."

"So, you are suspecting that Sam is actually connected to the Hub because of this? Because he has a grudge against the Thalassa family. I cannot think of any other connection other than that for the Cavalry to be present in that territory."

Bloody chariot stayed silent for a couple of seconds and said.

"I have two theories. If you can prove them wrong, I will completely believe what you said and will take immediate measures."

"What are they?"

"First, there is a good chance that this is a ploy from the Hub. They might have captured and let them go in Thalassa territory. They might just be trying to mislead the whole thing and this could all be just a coincidence."

"The second one."

"This could be your ploy. You might be trying to direct my attention towards hub, because obviously you have a grudge against them. You might be using my hands to deal with them.

Of course, both of them are pretty far-fetched. However, whatever that I saw until now, I would like to look at the more far-fetched theories than the obvious ones.

There is also a third theory and that is yours. Maybe Sam is indeed related to all of this and it is not like there is no merit to it. However, it is just as far-fetched as the first two. So, I will look into all three.

He sent Christos away.

Christos is a bit disappointed though. There is indeed some truth to what Bloody Chariot said about him. Christos did want to increase some pressure on Sam and the hub so that he could get some investigation done.

But things are not looking good.

The city is still in chaos. People are scared about the next payment day. Crimes increased and people are killing each other.

Time passed and soon Sam finished the quest and came back. He came and checked the surveillance as well as other things.

One thing that surprised him is the notification he got to his contribution token. It is the notification from the exchange center. It indicated that someone bought some of his contributions.

He did some digging and found out, who did it.

The one and the only Bloody Chariot.

Sam raised an eyebrow. To his dismay Bloody Chariot didn't have the puppet and whenever he is meeting someone, he would ask them to place the puppet aside. The surveillance on him is the least informative right now.

At this moment, Sam is ready to add a few more elements into the whole mess. For that, he needs to understand just how far Bloody Chariot has come.

Anyway, this whole situation has dragged out for too long. It is about time he sped this whole thing up and ended it.

By the end of these twelve labors this should come to a conclusion and he is planning to finish those twelve labors in the blink of an eye.
