Bring You Breakfast (3)

The school opening for the sophomore year had just officially begun two days ago, and they now underwent a mock exam.

They took the Chinese exam in the morning, then Math and English exams in the afternoon. There weren’t any class assignments, and they would sit in their original classroom to take the exams.

Most people had already sat in their seats when Ruan Qingmu and Fang Li entered. Some were cramming until the last minute to study, and some were muttering while memorizing; it was very noisy.

But once Ruan Qingmu entered, the entire class suddenly became quiet.

Ruan Qingmu felt a little flabbergasted. He unhurriedly walked to his seat, and he finally understood just as he was about to sit.

No wonder the atmosphere became strange as soon as they saw him enter. It turned out that a mothwas awaiting him.

Upon returning to school yesterday, everyone had received the new teaching material. He also didn’t treat it conscientiously and was too lazy to take it back home, so he left everything inside the drawer.

But in just one night, the seven or eight new teaching materials had all become ruined.

The cover and most of the inner pages were torn apart, and paper fragments were thrown all over the desk. An exercise booklet was spread out with several big words written in red ink on it; it was a horrible sight.

“Go die, stinky cripple!”

The handwriting was crooked, and it could be seen from a glance that it was written with the left hand. It was impossible to investigate who the writer was.

Fang Li’s face became pale as he glanced over. He looked at the back, feeling shocked and afraid. As expected, Liu Jun and several boys held their arms and arrogantly looked at this side.

Ruan Qingmu raised his head and gazed at Liu Jun. “Your doing?”

It wasn’t a question but a confirmation.

Several boys exaggeratedly laughed out loud at once. After Liu Jun finished laughing, he opened his mouth. “Don’t falsely accuse other people, ah. Old Jian had just taught us yesterday to be friendly and kind to our classmates. How could we do something like this?”

Another boy followed him and shouted, “Yes, ah. You’ve offended so many people. Maybe the girls from Class 1 hated you for scolding their class monitor.

They feel embarrassed to tear your mouth, so they only come to tear your books!”

“Hahahaha!” Several boys smugly howled in laughter.

Ruan Qingmu calmly looked at them, nodded, and didn’t speak anymore.

He suddenly talked in a loud voice, “Dear classmates, please look at the class group chat, ah.”

Everyone was stunned. They weren’t allowed to bring a cellphone to the exam, but they were in the remedial class after all. A lot of them cheated in the exam.

Many people in the class secretly brought their cellphones into the classroom.
Ruan Qingmu calmly opened the class QQ group chat and sent a message: “Paying a high price for the clue of whoever that tore my books.”

“Wah –” There was immediately an uproar in the classroom. Fuck, it could also be done like this? What a big deal!

Liu Jun’s face became ashen. He helplessly looked as another message popped up inside the QQ group chat.

Ruan Qingmu: “50 yuan for a clue from non-anonymous sources, and I’ll keep it confidential. 20 yuan for anonymous.”

……

Everyone was looking at the QQ group. Liu Jun looked up, but he couldn’t tell who was typing on their phones. He could only see that many students were sneakily engrossed in their phones.

Ruan Qingmu poked his phone for a while. After a moment, a string of messages came out inside the Class 9’s QQ group.

All of them hid their username, and only the content in the chatbox could be seen.

A dozen messages all uniformly contained: “Liu Jun,” “It was Liu Jun,” and “Liu Jun with Li Zhiyong and the others tore it in the classroom this morning.”

Ruan Qingmu turned around and raised his phone to Liu Jun. “Hey, grandson?”

Liu Jun’s face was livid, and he looked around with menace. “Who was it? I will admit it If you dare to say it to my face.”

The entire class was extremely quiet, and nobody dared to speak.

Bai Jing and Huang Ya were frightened into lowering their heads, and they quietly stuffed their phones into the drawer.

Liu Jun sneered in satisfaction as he saw the silent classroom, and he looked at Ruan Qingmu with provocation. “How could a rumor from an anonymous source be regarded as damn evidence?”

Ruan Qingmu looked up and suddenly smiled.

He had looked pleased when he entered, and his countenance seemed to be shining. However, his smile didn’t contain any warmth right now, but it strangely showed a slight coldness.

“Who says that I’m going to use it as evidence?” He sighed, “I’m only showing everyone the meaning of ‘the first to flirt is cheap5’.”

…..

The author has something to say:

Class 1 sports representative, Fu Songhua: I didn’t know why, but our Boss played very badly and ran slower than usual in the morning physical education class.

I thought that it was because he ate too little breakfast.

I thought that it was because he ate too little breakfast.

Footnote:

4 It means someone creating something out of nothing, making trouble out of nothing, and it is mostly derogatory

5 the first to flirt is cheap, and to kill without complaint: It originated from the Cantonese saying; means that the person who provokes or fights first is always wrong; there should be no grievances if they are beaten to death.
