Nothing To Do With You (3)

On Monday morning, Ruan Qingmu was found frowning in Class 9’s classroom. “What? Lin Hua’s parents are here?”

Bai Jing nodded vigorously. “Mm! Someone went to the office building just now and saw them. Damn. They said his mom’s howl was louder than a cowbell’s!”

Ruan Qingmu indifferently sneered. “It’s already a benevolence that the school didn’t punish him for his actions on the sports field, but they still dare to come here and make a scene?”

Bai Jing looked around and leaned closer to him, whispering so softly his words were nearly inaudible, “Ruan-ge, have you thought it over well? What if it’s really…”

Ruan Qingmu looked at him coldly. “What if it’s what?”

Bai Jing lowered his head. Others didn’t know, but he knew it clearly. If Ruan Qingmu didn’t do this, he would cut his head off and use it as a soccer ball!

Forget about it. Forget about it. Ruan-ge was psychologically strong.

“Ruan-ge, did you know Old Jian called all the people sitting in the last row just now…” Bai Jing worriedly pointed his finger at the back, “to be questioned, asking whether you were in the classroom during Friday’s night self-study.”

Ruan Qingmu remained calm. “Oh, what did they say?”

Bai Jing with a bitter face said, “Everyone rushed up to cover for you. But, their statements were different. Some said you were playing cards in the dorm, some said you were in the bathroom, and someone even solemnly vowed that you went to 106 to ask for Boss Qin’s help with homework.”

Ruan Qingmu laughed. “You guys can really make up things.”

“You also didn’t instruct us first, ah…”

Ruan Qingmu waved his hand. “Let it be. I have my own plan.”

Bai Jing walked away still deeply worried. Ruan Qingmu slowly twirled a pen, but his heart was slightly in a mess.

It wasn’t because Lin Hua’s mom came to make a scene, but that person didn’t get in touch with him for the entire weekend and didn’t send him any messages.

Was he really angry? Did he ignore him for two days just for this small matter?

Such a miser. He wasn’t open-minded at all and didn’t have a righteous shaoxia demeanor from the past!

His face tensed and the pen in his hand spun quickly, suddenly falling to the ground with a “plak.”

In the Educational Administration office.

A middle-aged woman with messy hair and red eyes cried out loudly without a single tear falling down her cheeks. “Teachers, Dean of the Teaching Department! It’s not that I’m not sensible, but our family won’t let this off easily if we don’t get an explanation!”

She pulled Lin Hua to her side. “Our family’s good baby is usually a little rash, but he has no bad intentions! But look at him –”

She pointed at Lin Hua’s face, shrieking with a loud voice, “He was beaten to a pulp. What if he becomes disfigured?!”

Several teachers looked at her helplessly and at the few minor scrapes on Lin Hua’s face.

The Dean of the Teaching Department held back his temper. “Mother Lin, your son’s wounds were because Student Fu Songhua mistook him for a thief and kicked him into bushes, scratching him. It’s not from being beaten…”

Lin Hua’s mother’s voice turned up a notch. “How can that not be considered a beating?! My son said that the brat, Fu Songhua, had a dispute with him. It must be intentional!”

Teacher Huai stood at the side, neutrally defending the student in her class. “Mrs. Lin, your son was being sneaky in the darkness. Fu Songhua can’t be blamed. How could he know your son broke a rule by going over the wall at night?”

Lin Hua’s mother shrieked. “Someone else hit my son other than him!”

Lin Hua mumbled at the side. “I’m telling the truth. I suffered from many punches and kicks!”

His mother thumped a medical record on the table and cried again, “Look! Soft tissue contusion and bleeding spots under the skin! This vicious murderer must’ve wanted to kill our family’s baby!”

The Dean of the Teaching Department frustratedly forced out a smile. “You’ve also asked the doctor. Your son’s injury is only a minor one. It’s not even considered a minor injury in the judicial assessment and there are clear criteria for minor injuries.”

“My son was also kidnapped! Rope and sack were even used!”

Class 6’s class teacher coughed at the side. “Mother Lin, kidnapping isn’t defined in this way and has to have other elements. When the teacher on duty met your son, he was fine, and his body wasn’t bound by rope.”

Lin Hua’s mother jumped up three feet high. “I can see that you guys want to protect that murderer! Fine, if the school doesn’t give me an explanation today, I will knock my head to die in your office!”

She jumped and struck a pose as if wanting to knock her head against a table corner. Several teachers were startled, jumped up, and hurried to pull her back in succession. “Hey, Hey? What are you doing?! What are you doing?! Speak properly…”

Old Jian’s white eyes almost rolled to the sky. “What a vixen. The school hasn’t traced the matter of her son throwing trash at the race track and harming people, but she already ran here to file a suit as the guilty party.

It was true that the student hitting her son was wrong, but it was obviously within the norms. There were no severe wounds and no actual kidnapping. Even the pried school’s lock had been replaced with a new one.

The office was a complete mess. The Dean of the Teaching Department took advantage of the chaos to pull Old Jian outside for a chat.

“I will say it frankly. Lin Hua suspects Ruan Qingmu from your class did it. What do you think?”
