"I am Zayn Noir, and the 352nd Hunting Unit rescued me. They were nice enough to pick me up when I got lost in the forest." Zayn clarified.

He figured that this explanation was much better than 'I just walked past them.', especially since it could hardly be considered an explanation.

Zayn didn't plan to reveal that he helped the 352nd Hunting Unit to kill the Trolls, or rather that he was actually the one who killed two of them. There was no need to overcomplicate things.

However, the middle-aged man, who handled all missions in the Silverflame Camp didn't seem to feel like leaving things at that. He squinted his eyes and continued to stare at Zayn for a good five seconds.

"No matter how I look at it, the 352nd Hunting Unit is not strong enough to kill three Trolls without any help. Their equipment is not strong enough and their rank is too low. Maybe, they killed one or two Trolls on their own, while sustaining heavy injuries at that, but they shouldn't have been strong enough to kill three Trolls.

They would have been annihilated, especially since there are only three notorious Trolls in this region, and they are…or were on the verge of advancing to Soul Lords!" The middle-aged man declared with a dangerous glimmer in his eyes as he continued to stare at Zayn.

"Did you help them, by chance?!"

'Is this dude a psychic? How does he know?'

Zayn tried to maintain a calm expression but his eyes betrayed him. He realized that and issued stifled laughter.

"I am merely 14 years old, extremely tired, and sooo weak. They rescued me, the damsel in distress. How dare you say that my knights in shining armor were unable to kill those bad Trolls. They were so fierce!" Zayn exclaimed in an exaggerated manner.

He felt like trying something out, which seemed to work decently because the middle-aged man seemed confused. Zayn's outburst seemed to shake him thoroughly.

The middle-aged man was about to say something when his eyes darted to Zayn's weapons, his armor, and the bracelet he wore.

"You…what kind of nonsense are you talking about?! Stop spouting bullsh–..." He shouted out loudly before he turned silent all of a sudden.

His posture changed in an instant and his expression stiffened as he straightened his back salute to the person who had just entered the building.

"Legatus! Welcome back!"

Everyone's attention was pulled to the person whose steps rang out from the entrance.

A woman in the same clothes as everyone else in the Silverflame Camp came into everyone's view. She naturally exuded strength and confidence in every aspect of her being as she strode to the middle-aged man.

The woman held her high and her shoulders were pushed back as she stood tall and proud in front of the middle-aged man with a steady and focused gaze.

Her Uniform was crisp and neat, seemingly tailored to fight her figure perfectly. The olive green colors of her attire complemented her natural beauty. Her striking features were even more apparent as she stood calmly in front of the middle-aged many with long black hair that had been tied back in a ponytail

Contrary to the cadets of the Silverflame Camp, she had several emblems and patches attached to her uniform, symbolizing her rank and accomplishments.

Her eyes were sparkling with a sense of coldness and loftiness scanned through the room as she noticed the awkwardness in the room.

It was not an unfamiliar sensation to her, but she could tell that the awkwardness was not because of her sudden appearance, but because of something else.

"What is going on here?" She asked, her voice firm and authoritative, demanding attention from the people around her.

Nobody answered her at first, but she didn't really have any time to bother about the silence that encompassed the entire building either. Her attention had been pulled onto Zayn, who stared blankly at the woman.

However, he didn't stare at her because she was too beautiful to keep his mind sane. Rather, he stared blankly at her because of a completely different reason.

"What…are you doing here?" He blurted out, his question filled with confusion.

No matter how much her hair and clothing changed, Zayn could clearly tell that the woman in front of him was someone he was very familiar with. It was a beauty whom he had met a few times before.

It was Sarah, one of the workers in the Adventurer Inn!

Even though her presence, clothing, and hair had changed a lot, Zayn could bet his whole fortune that this was Sarah!

The middle-aged man gasped when he heard Zayn's rude question, and even the eyes of the others widened. Their expression distorted as their minds were going awry.

What the hell was Zayn doing?!?

"How dare yo—..."

"I could ask you the exact same question, little Zayn. It hasn't even been a year, has it?" Sarah, the Legatus whom the middle-aged man talked about earlier, asked.

She sounded rather calm and composed but one could see the confusion hiding underneath her calm facade.

The gears in Zayn's head were rattling rapidly, but he still ended up unable to comprehend what the hell had just happened.

"Are you-..."

"...from the Silverheart Legion? Yes, I am!"

"You…" Zayn mumbled, just to shut his mouth tightly. He nearly asked 'Did you send me the Silverheart Legion's business card and the letter after the incident in the Adventurer Inn?'.

He was still not certain what exactly was going on, but recalling that the middle-aged man called Sarah 'Legatus' and that the letter beneath the business card of the Silverheart Legion had been signed by the Assassin Legatus, Zayn could conclude a few things.

'She doesn't know about my Spirits, right? Though…she probably figured that I was at fault for the incident in the Adventurer In. What am I supposed to do now?'

Almost as if Legatus Sarah could read his mind, she smiled mischievously as she took a stride closer to him.

"Looks like you're hiding your little helpers once again~!"
