Dozens of broken mugs, shattered chairs and tables, and groaning drunkards could be found all over the Adventurer Inn.

The entire dining room of the Inn was turned upside down but the Innkeeper, his wife, and the server were just watching the scene with folded hands.

None of them dared to interfere in the bloody bar fight because none of the drunken Blessed were able to distinguish between friend and foe anymore.

They would be dragged into the fight and beaten up the moment they got too close to the mass of people that were trying hard to avoid the kicks and fists flying at them from all directions.

The drunk Blessed were not able to fight properly but the damage they caused was still more than that caused by ordinary people since their strength was naturally amplified due to the soul particles that were amassed inside their hearts.

Even while intoxicated, the huge and bulky Blessed Jens was able to deal with most opponents single-handedly. Only after more than ten minutes had passed since the bar fight started did it look like he lost his footing.

Jens disappeared under the mass of dozens of drunk people who sensed their chance to complete their system mission with flying colors. They smashed their hands, elbows, and even heads against Jens in an attempt to receive the best rewards from the mission.

Phillip and other members of his group disappeared all of a sudden. They had resisted the attacks with all their might before just to grow weaker all of a sudden. The two were overwhelmed just like Jens, and it was only a matter of seconds before the remaining members of Phillip's group were overwhelmed as well.

However, the fighting spirit and resilience of the three last members were much stronger than the others even after they had been pushed to the ground. The last three last members were giving their all, no matter how many opponents were throwing themselves at them.

All of a sudden, a figure wearing a black cloak rushed over to the drunken Blessed who were leaning over each other in a never-ending attempt to finish their mission with a perfect result.

The cloaked figure, however, didn't even think about joining the bar fight. On the contrary, the figure disappeared after passing by all the Blessed.

The figure didn't do anything other than rush over the leaned-over backs of the Blessed before returning to the counter where the Innkeeper, his wife, and the other staff members were standing, staring blankly at the fight that continued in the corner of the room.

It was Zayn, who had completed what he came for. The moment he perceived the perfect timing, he threw the fire needles at Jens, Phillip, and the next closest member of their group.

At first, Zayn intended to kill all of them but he quickly noticed that this was not possible. He could barely pierce the neck of three of them, ending their life before they even realized it.

The fire needles were extremely thin but powerful enough to pierce the flesh of ordinary humans. Jens may have created his first Soulring already but he was just a mere human, and drunk enough to fall into a comatose state for days. It was only obvious that neither he nor Phillip were in the condition to register let alone block the fire needles that pierced their necks neatly.

Zayn waited for a while until he was certain that nobody registered that a handful of fire needles had been released before he acted. The Blessed were too drunk to realize that Jens, Phillip, and another Blessed were dead. How were they supposed to register that tiny fire needles had been thrown at them? They couldn't even see properly anymore, which was quite obvious since they had been drinking for more than six hours straight!

Zayn began to move the moment he saw the Soul Wisps of the three Blessed whom he had assassinated, giving them a quick death before he rushed over.

He grasped the three Soul Wisps and forcefully prevented their ascension with the use of the Soul Extraction technique. Using Soul Extraction not only allowed him to extract the Soul Essence of a Soul Wisp but also to change the trajectory of a Soul Wisp. It was even possible to restrict its restriction which would drain a considerable amount of the ownerless soul particles that were attached to the Soul Wisp.

Zayn did exactly that. He dragged the three Soul Wisps over to the counter where he was given the opportunity to devour the ownerless soul particles of Jens and the other Blessed's Soul Wisp.

As for Phillip's Soul Wisp, Zayn had a different plan for it, but that was not important for now.

'You guys don't get your Soulwish…those are my prey, my kills!' He told himself as he looked over to the bar fight that seemed to keep going forever. Only the person who killed a being could absorb the ownerless soul particles of the Soul Wisp. However, that was also not the most important thing Zayn had to do right now!

Zayn's expression changed drastically as the massive amount of ownerless soul particles from Jens and the other Blessed entered his body, invading every single pore.

His face turned ghastly pale and he had to clench his fists not to scream out loud, or grit his teeth.

After all, he had a plan to complete!

He pointed at the bar fight with his uncontrollably trembling hand and looked over to the Innkeeper.

"I…I think…that they're dead…" Zayn said, his voice trembling just as much as his hand.

However, the reason for him to tremble was not fear, or shock, but the sheer unimaginable amount of soul particles that flooded his body, making it hard for him to stand straight.

His heart had a hard time gathering the massive amount of soul particles within it, which resulted in his entire body trembling, his eyes quivering, and his ghastly pale complexion.

Of course, the Innkeeper thought that Zayn was just too shocked about what he had just seen and was reacting accordingly.

"What?!?" The Innkeeper shouted out loud, shock visible on his face as he stared at the ghastly pale face of the young man.

He didn't think that Zayn would lie about something like dead bodies, let alone that he was somehow involved in the death of some Blessed.

Seeing Zayn and how heavily he was breathing, the Innkeeper presumed that the youngster was facing a mental breakdown after having witnessed the debacle.

He grit his teeth and looked over to the mass of fighting drunkards before his eyes flicked back to Zayn who could hardly stand on his own two feet.

All of a sudden, a shocked scream resounded through the surrounding area.

"Oh my god!!...He is not moving at all!!!"

It was one of the drunk Blessed who sobered up the moment he realized that Jens had gone deathly still.

The Innkeeper swallowed his saliva hard and looked over to Zayn.

"Just leave…if someone comes to you to ask questions, just say that I told you to leave earlier…and that you actually left…" He suddenly said, catching Zayn by surprise.

'Huh?'
