296 Signing Up for the Martial Arts Competition

The people who signed up for the martial arts competition exuded overwhelming auras. Most of them were Level 3 Espers, while a small number of them were peak stage Level 2 Espers. However, there was an otherworldly figure among these geniuses. It was the crown princess of the Azure Phoenix Empire! The only Level 4 Esper among the participants!

Looking at her, the participants felt a heavy pressure. Her aura was concealed, but the traceless power emanating from her made them feel suffocated.

"She's strong!" Janrose frowned as she looked at Princess Altina.

Alec nodded his head in agreement. "Other than her, William Holt of the Zion Empire is also strong. It won't be easy to defeat him." He muttered while looking at a 7-foot-tall young man who was wearing a battle armor. This towering young warrior is the son of General Gilbert Holt of the Zion Empire!

"Who is that guy?" Janrose pointed at a young man wearing shabby clothing. He had a strange-looking weapon in the shape of a crescent moon strapped on his back. Everyone was unconsciously moving away from this person because of the dangerous aura he exuded.

Alec followed her gaze and saw the young man. "A peak stage Level 3 Esper? Who is he? Which empire is he representing?" He muttered with a frown. Aethelwolf told them a few things about the most prominent young talents, but he never mentioned this guy.

"I'm not sure, but there are only two of them wearing the same uniform. It seems like he is also from a small obscure empire just like us." Janrose replied with uncertainty.

They realized that there were a lot of hidden dragons and crouching tigers who signed up for the competition!

After writing their names and information, Alec and Janrose went down the stage with solemn gazes.

"The participants of the martial arts competition are strong!" Michael Singler muttered in shock. He was the young genius of the Singler Household and was also recognized as the top practitioner of the spear. However, he didn't dare say that he was better than the participants in this martial arts competition.

Grace Urgel clenched her fists tightly. She thought that her talent was already one of the best in the Regalis Continent, but it seems like she was wrong.

"Let's go to King Aethelwolf. You still have to confirm if he's really giving you the cauldron." Alec said to Christopher.

Hearing this, Christopher's eyes lit up in excitement. "You're right! Let's go!" He grabbed everyone with an eager look on his face.

Meanwhile, in another part of the stadium.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness. I didn't manage to get the first place." Judy Kristel muttered to Princess Altina. Despite having a Divine-Rated cauldron, she only clinched the second spot. She was even almost overtaken by the guy who was ranked third!

Princess Altina tucked her hair behind her ears as she gently smiled at Judy. "You don't have to apologize to me. The young man from the Leone Empire is just too good and his Divine-Rated cauldron is also superior to what you're using. There is no need to feel sorry about, Judy. Just do well in the martial arts competition."

Judy was overwhelmed by the crown princess' magnanimity. She hurriedly nodded her head as she replied. "Yes, Your Highness! I will do my best!"

"Einar, I'll let you handle the alliance talks with the Paramount Heaven Empire. I'll go grab the kids first." Aethelwolf said to the old man beside him. He trusted the old man's capabilities and he wasn't worried that Lark Whitmond would outsmart him. After all, Lark was an idiot who only knows how to fight.

"Yes, King Aethelwolf!" Einar nodded his head.

"Bye, Grandpa Einar! I'll reserve one cookie for you!" Olivia waved her chubby hands at the old man before she left with Aethelwolf and the others.

Einar gazed at the little girl's back view with gentleness. When he could no longer see them, he turned his gaze to Lark Whitmond's group. At least the guy was sensible and didn't run away from them.

Feeling Einar's gaze, Lark snorted as he said. "Let's talk somewhere more private!"

Einar nodded his head calmly and followed them. A group of Shadow Guards trailed behind the old man.

This time, the elite soldiers of the Paramount Heaven Empire no longer dared to underestimate them after being ruthlessly beaten up recently. They knew that the Shadow Guards following Einar were a group of dangerous experts!

"Old man, you are strong. Your power is already comparable to those in the top 10 of the Heavenly Might Rankings. Why are you still following Aethelwolf?" Lark couldn't help but ask.

Einar glanced at him and shook his head. "You know nothing about King Aethelwolf's strength. The information you have about him is just the tip of the iceberg." He replied coldly.

"You speak so highly of him. Is he really that strong?"

"We have more important matters to talk about. I don't think we are here to discuss King Aethelwolf's matters." Einar calmly said. Aethelwolf was someone he worshipped. Einar would do anything he wants even if it is to kill the emperor of the Leone Empire!

Lark raised his eyebrows, but he didn't say anything. His subordinates heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing this. It was rare to see their boss admit defeat to anyone. This old man was definitely something.

Soon, they arrived at a relatively high-end restaurant. After ordering some food, the two proceeded in discussing the terms of the alliance.

"Are you sure that you have the authority to discuss this with me?" Lark muttered with his arms crossed.

"King Aethelwolf gave me full authority in this matter. You don't have to worry about anything." Einar replied.

"What do you propose, old man?" Lark glanced at the old man. He wasn't good in talks like this so he could only buy some time while his subordinates were still planning their next move.

Einar leaned forward and crossed his fingers as he let out a smile. "How about this..."
