The Original Vampire

Fifty-nine Lords' Meeting (Part 1)

The day after entering the city, Colin received an invitation letter.

"Lord's meeting?"

After reading the content of the invitation letter, Ke Lin immediately realized that the lords gathered in Ice Rock City were really ready to do something.

Caitlin doesn't seem to realize what's behind the invitation, she's just happy for her brother.

In her opinion, although her younger brother has not yet officially accepted the duke's canonization as a baron, he has already been recognized by the major lords in the north.

"You need a baron dress!" Caitlin said suddenly and solemnly.

Then, she ran out in a hurry: "I'll go and make one for you now!"

"Oh, wait, don't I have to go with me?"

Caitlin turned back and smiled dotingly: "Silly brother, I don't know your size yet."

Ke Lin was stunned for a while, looking at his sister's back, the memories of the past couldn't help but come to his mind.

Those beautiful pasts kept reminding Colin how close their sibling relationship was.

Will the older sister in my memory really murder herself for the position of a baron?

Colin was suddenly a little uncertain.

Moreover, if it is really her, can she still face herself so calmly and so naturally?

Colin didn't believe that his sister was such a scheming person.

At least, not the one she remembered.

Perhaps, the assassination was secretly planned by Earl Uman from the beginning to the end, just wanting to take a family business for his illegitimate son.

And his sister, I am afraid that has been kept in the dark.

But this is only one possibility.

Colin sighed and stopped his wild guessing.

Although he did not wish that his sister, who had cared for him since childhood, would become an enemy, at least until the truth was revealed, he could not fully trust Caitlin.

Two days passed in a flash, and it was time for the meeting of the lords.

Colin left the hotel at the slightly nagging voice of his sister and came to the castle of the Suduo family.

He saw the butler who tried to throw him out last time, and this time the other party greeted Colin with a smile.

However, Colin didn't feel much sincerity from this smile.

Entering the conference hall, Colin was guided by a servant to an inconspicuous corner.

No way, since this meeting is a "Lord's Meeting", the participants must be true nobles with titles, and Ke Lin, who has not yet truly inherited the title of baron, can only sit in the corner.

If it wasn't for the sake of his ability to represent the Angele family, he wouldn't be able to enter the venue at all as a knight.

The lords entered the venue one after another, and then, like Colin, were guided to the corresponding positions by the attendants one by one.

This meeting is very formal, so everyone's seats are arranged according to their status, and they can't sit around.

The atmosphere at the venue was also very serious, and almost no one spoke.

When it was almost time for the meeting to start, the venue was almost full, and there was only one vacant seat in the front row.

Just when Colin was still guessing who this last position was reserved for, an old acquaintance appeared at the door.

Earl Dawson.

The dwarf count was led by his attendants and took his last seat.

Everyone is here.

Sitting in the front row are four earls. Except for Earl Dawson, who is loyal to Marquis Garcia, the other three are vassals of the Duke of St. Hilde.

They are the highest-ranking people in this meeting.

However, none of the two marquis in Ice Rock City were present.

Earl Dawson might represent Marquis Garcia, but what about Marquis Charles?

Colin seemed to have guessed the purpose of the meeting.

"Cough cough.

Earl Uman cleared his throat and announced, "Okay, since everyone is here, let's start." "

After saying that, he looked around.

Seeing that the other three earls nodded in agreement, Earl Uman picked up a piece of parchment and said:

"This meeting is mainly to discuss the Marquis of Charles..."

Colin secretly said yes.

Even if the black cavalry annihilated the invading troll army and avenged it, it was clear that the lords of the north were still not ready to let Marquis Charles go.

In other words, these lords are still unwilling to let the Duke of St. Hilde go.

They need an explanation!

"... 200,000 soldiers from the northern border died in battle, and more than a dozen cities were looted. Someone must be responsible for such a fiasco!"

Earl Uman finished recounting the charges of Marquis Charles, then pointed to the parchment in his hand and said:

"Therefore, in accordance with the will of Marquis Garcia, I have drawn up this petition, requesting the Duke of St. Hilde to immediately deprive Charles of the title of Marquis!

Lords who agree with this decision, please sign it! "

After that, Earl Uman signed his name first, and then handed it to Earl Dawson next to him.

Earl Dawson smiled and signed without hesitation.

Colin noticed that many lords were quietly relieved after seeing Earl Dawson's signature, and their eyes became firm.

Obviously, the addition of the Black Cavalry has greatly boosted their courage.

As long as Marquis Garcia is on their side, then it is not impossible to change the owner of the North!

The third earl also signed, and the parchment passed to the fourth earl.

The gray-haired old earl slowly took the parchment under his eyes and looked at it for a long time.

As if carefully considering each word.

At the beginning, everyone was very considerate. After all, it is understandable for the elderly to have bad eyesight and poor brains.

But ten minutes later, the old earl hadn't finished reading it.

Everyone was obviously impatient, and many people began to whisper.

"Earl Morrison, have you read it yet?" Earl Uman couldn't help but urged.

"Oh, oh, wait a moment." Earl Morrison replied casually, still watching to himself.

After another ten minutes, he finally put down the parchment.

"Are you finished?"

"finish watching."

"Do you have any comments?"

"Have!"

The atmosphere of the venue suddenly became solemn.

"Please speak." Earl Uman's face sank slightly, but he still maintained his demeanor.

Earl Morrison chuckled and asked, "Do you know what I saw in this petition?"

"What did you see?"

"I only saw two words--" Earl Morrison's eyes suddenly became sharp, and the old look was completely gone:

"betray!"

An old but loud voice echoed in the venue.

The expressions on everyone's faces became a little unnatural.

Especially the other three earls who just signed.

After a long while, Earl Uman said lightly: "Since Earl Morrison does not agree with our decision, you can not sign it."

Earl Morrison snorted softly, threw the parchment into the hand of the attendant, and said disdainfully, "Can I leave? The breath here makes me sick!"

"Of course you can leave." Earl Uman winked, "Kane Knight, send Earl Morrison away."

"I can walk by myself!" Earl Morrison ignored Kahn, who stepped forward to try to support him, and walked straight out.

"Hey!"

However, before Earl Morrison could reach the door, a sharp sword stabbed through his back.

"Ah!!!" Earl Morrison screamed and turned around and scolded, "Coward! Your father never told you to sneak up on a knight from behind..."

"Hey!"

The khan knight stabbed again.

This time, he stabbed from the front.

"puff!"

Earl Morrison sprayed a mouthful of blood on Kahn's face and cursed:

"Everyone in your Su Duo family must die!"
