Chapter 11: Bounty

As he flew away from there, Williard checked the notifications. Aside from the level up notifications, there are other notifications.

"Congratulations, you received a new skill. Please check the Skill panel for details."

"38 Silvers has been added."

"Congratulations, you avenged mayor son's death. Report it to the Mayor and receive your reward."

Williard was surprised to see that he completed a quest that he didn't accept. "Hmm, the system only informs like this when it is a public quest. Then, I guess, I need to accept the quest from the bulletin board in Adventurer's Association. Since it is a Quest, then the boss must have dropped a quest item that I need to produce as proof. Let's see the drops, first.

Williard then took out each item that was dropped from the inventory and inspected it.

Leopard King's Light Armor (+0)

Level: 40

Class: Mage, Ranger, Assassin;

Grade: Gold

HP: 3988

Defense: 424

????

"Hmm, I need to look for Appraiser, later. Ok, next."

Arthur's Necklace (Quest item)

Class: Anyone

Level: 30

Grade: Silver

Attack: 2.3%

HP: 5.2%

Description: The necklace worn by Arthur, who was the only son of Revus, the mayor of East Ocean city.

Looking at the description, Williard became troubled whether it's worth to hand it over or not because necklaces are very rare. If it was a gold grade one, Williard definitely wouldn't hesitate to keep it but seeing it was a silver grade and he can't even enhance it, he mumbled, "Well, let's see the reward posted by the Mayor, first."

Leopard King's dual blades (+0)

Class: Assassin

Level: 40

Grade: Gold

Attack: 1986

Pierce: 217

Critical rate: 8.6%

Attack Speed: 3.8

Williard smiled in satisfaction, "I know that Assassin weapons have always high attack but that was some insane attack speed. Aster's damage will be further increase once he equips this." As for the other normal Bronze equipment of other classes, I guess I'll just give them to the party members."

After seeing he leveled up 9 times after receiving that crazy amount of EXP, he thought, "now that I passed level 30, its time to create a Guild to start my next goal."

Then, he voice-messaged to Aster, "the boss is killed, I'm safe. Tell everyone to gather at Bear Inn and give everyone their rewards for player killing immediately."

Aster replied, "As you wish, young master." While Williard was heading towards the East Ocean city, at Imperial Guild residence, the Guild Leader looked at the twenty members of the part coldly, "so, not only you lose the boss to them but also got killed and lost equipment? You, Dave here is the worst of them all. You even lost to a level-22 noob and lost gold grade equipment and even have the nerve to say excuses that he possesses unique skills? I don't need you, anymore. Get out of here.

Red Dragon, even you also lost? Not to Boss but was done by a mere level 42 Assassin? I didn't expect this from you. Do you know why I made you vice leader despite you being a mere 46 level player when there are many level50 players in our guild? It's because I thought your skill is above them. But you've disappointed me today."

Red Dragon replied, "The assassin, presumably their leader is a true expert. If we get him to our side…" The Guild leader, White Tiger became furious, "you ****** trash, now you dare to advise me to pull in my enemy who dared to humiliate me? They didn't just steal a Heroic boss, you idiot. I lost my chance of becoming a Noble. Do you have any idea how hard to get fame?

Go, and kill every one of them. You all get their names those who killed you in notifications, right? Record all 52 of their names and put a bounty on them. 1000 Credits on each person getting killed once. Tell them it'll be in effect until their level reaches 1. And as for that assassin that killed you, I'll make it double."

As Red Dragon left the place, he sighed, "I don't understand the world of these rich people. They wound their pride in every petty little thing and burn their money. According to the game rules, each person would lose 50% EXP. They are all in mid 30 levels.

That means at least 60-80,000 Credits per person. Around 4 Million Credits in total. 4 Millions, hmpf. It would simply take at least 5 Years even for someone like me to earn it with my salary. Sigh, I truly envy these rich brats who can burn their father's money like paper."

Meanwhile, Williard reached the East Ocean City and started walking towards the Bear Inn while checking his new stats after equipping all the level 30 Bronze armor, bracer, boots, and a silver bow, he got from Aster a while ago and Mayor son's necklace inside his armor.

As soon as he reached there, he saw his party was there waiting for him along with Aster while drinking drinks and occupied the first floor. He looked at them and said, "Good job, everyone. Now, hear me carefully. I'm going to start a Guild. You are all going to get joining bonus of 1000 Credits. And Aster, this five equipment were dropped by monster along with other ones. Give them to the one who needed it. It's only a bronze grade but still level 40 ones. Might be worth until they get Silver equipment."

After giving them the equipment, he gave the gold grade dual blades to Aster much to the envy of those hired thugs. "Thank you, young master," as Aster thanked him, Williard patted his shoulder and replied, "no need. I'll always take care of those who follow me."

Later, Williard and Aster went to the City Administration building that is situated at the Central Plaza, the center of the city. "Excuse me," as Williard called out to the Elf receptionist who was busy writing the reports, "yes, what do you need, adventurer?" the Elf asked him. Williard replied, "Can I have a Nobility badge?"

The Elf replied without any expression, "Yes, 50 Silver per badge." Hearing the price, Aster gasped as he knew even 10 Silver is a huge amount. After all, it's just the third day and the exchanging system didn't open yet. In private exchanges, the average price of one silver is selling for 1,410 Credits. Then Aster asked, "Young master, should I buy the currency?"
