Bai Yunyu was busy fortifying the area around the waterfall. He placed many sacred talismans around the area. This was the only way for him to set up a trap for those demonic cultivators if they dared to get close.

Of course, he believed that Baishe's defense was enough to protect herself and Han Shun inside the cave. But Yunyu still felt restless, thinking of how Han Shun must've been training hard inside the cave.

[Who knows, it might take more than 50 years to obtain his golden core? I might as well protect the surrounding area to spend my free time.]

[Pupa: I don't think it'll take that long for him to reach his Jindan. But it will definitely take years.]

[Anyway, what's with the sudden 35% increase of Breakmeter?] Yunyu asked. He stopped after he planted his last talisman and rested under a big tree for a while.

Pupa materialized in front of Yunyu and answered his question, "There might be something in Han Shun's mind that increases his Breakmeter. But the key of this world is that… as long as Han Shun ascends to be the leader of Plum Blossom Immortal Sect, and become the strongest immortal/God in this world, the mission would count as a success."

"Hmm… that's the difficult part. We don't know how to gauge Han Shun's power level. We don't know how strong 35% Breakmeter Han Shun is," Bai Yunyu said. "So I guess the only thing we can do right now is supporting Han Shun in his path to be the strongest cultivator."

Bai Yunyu got up and plucked the mangoes hanging on the tree. He sliced the mango into two before going to the cave to give this to Han Shun. This one was just normal mangoes, though. Han Shun should at least eat something normal once or twice a month.

Han Shun teleported inside the cave and met Baishe, still in her human form, sitting cross-legged facing Han Shun.

Baishe sensed Master Bai's presence. She went to greet him but said nothing as Master Bai told her not to disturb Han Shun. 

But Baishe wanted to tell the progress of Master Bai's disciple, so the only way to do it was by the limited telepathy because Master Bai had been limited for most of his power since he overstayed in the human realm. 

Baishe grabbed Master Bai's shoulder and tiptoed to touch Master Bai's forehead with hers and share her thoughts.

'Master Bai, can you hear me now?' Baishe asked. 

'Yeah, what do you want to talk about, Baishe? We shouldn't chat too much. It might disturb Han Shun and his meditation.'

'I just want to tell you about Han Shun's progress, Master Bai,' Baishe said.

'What progress? I don't think he will be progressing anytime soon. He was born in the human realm, and he had no cultivation foundation until he was 13 years old. It'll take a long time for him to reach his golden core.'

'No, Master Bai. I don't think it will take that long, take a look closer at him,' Baishe instructed.

She finally separated herself from Master Bai to stop the telepathy. Baishe turned around and pointed at Han Shun floating on the middle of the lake surface while sitting cross-legged.

He was closing his eyes, thankfully, and Bai Yunyu looked deeper into Han Shun's body.

He almost jumped when he saw the strong qi circulating around Han Shun and the shining core inside his body. It wasn't a golden core yet, but he was definitely close to it.

The revelation shocked Bai Yunyu so much that he was lost of words right now.

[Pupa…]

[Pupa: No, don't ask me about what happened to Han Shun because I don't know!]

[Aish! I mean, you can scan his body or something! How could 14 years old suddenly have some sort of cheat boost like this?! It's so unrealistic!]

[At least tell me how long until he reaches his golden core!]

Pupa materialized in front of Baishe and Bai Yunyu. It quietly scanned Han Shun's body and returned with a report.

[Pupa: Han Shun should be able to break through the bottleneck and obtain his golden core in four years. He will be 18 when he is eligible to pass the Forest of Lost Mist to follow you to the Plum Blossom Immortal Sect.]

[Damn, 18 years old… he is legal for me then, I think we can do it in my courtyard…]

[Pupa: HOE YUNYU, FOCUS!]

[A—Ah! Yes, I—I mean, damn, how could he reach such an amazing feat at such young age! Something must've been wrong!]

[Pupa: You're the one who told me that you won't be romancing Han Shun, but now you're also the one who thinks about Han Shun's legal age.]

[Geez, it can't be helped! That's what happened when you haven't had sex in so many years!]

Pupa rolled its eyes, and their telepathy confused Baishe. She was curious about what Master Bai and Pup were discussing with their telepathy, but since she couldn't join in their talk, she could only assume that they were debating about Han Shun's anomaly.

Bai Yunyu cleared his thought after a long 'civil' discussion with Pupa. He tapped Baishe's forehead to transfer his thought.

'I can see that he is truly the incarnation of Master Han Ye. Take care of him until he has obtained his golden core. Tell me if he needs something, I will go and bring it here.'

'Make sure that Han Shun won't have any distraction as well. I will be leaving now.

Bai Yunyu didn't say anything after that. He just went poof and disappeared, leaving another rock plate with diced mango inside. 

Baishe felt conflicted because she wanted to say that Han Shun only needed one thing; To have Bai Gege in his side because his obsession for Master Bai is so obvious.

'But of course, I can't say that. Because Bai Gege tends to get scared when Master Han and his incarnate showed any interest, let alone obsession….'
