'But of course, I can't say that. Because Bai Gege tends to get scared when Master Han and his incarnate showed any sign of interest, let alone obsession….'

Baishe sighed and grabbed the stone plate. She returned to Han Shun and patted the water to signal Han Shun to open his eyes. 

Han Shun opened his eyes slowly, looking at Baishe with an obviously displeased gaze. He was in a deep trance just now, thinking about Bai Gege, who gave him a kiss on the cheek. 

"What?" Han Shun asked.

"So hostile to me, huh? I'm just giving you the thing that Master Bai brought for you," Baishe said. She slid the stone plate on the water surface, and it floated right in front of Han Shun.

Han Shun stared at the stone plate and quickly summoned six tentacles surrounding him. If Baishe dared to approach him while eating the mangoes, those tentacles wouldn't hesitate to slam onto her.

Baishe sneered, "Geez, you're so protective over diced mangoes. Calm down, I'm not going to take it from you."

Though, Baishe also realized that Han Shun didn't intentionally summon those tentacles. It came from his subconsciousness to always claim and protect anything owned or given by Master Bai.

This was the same trait that Master Han had. He was a terribly possessive man, to the point that he wouldn't allow anyone to stare at Master Bai for more than 1 second. 

'I'm afraid Han Shun will soon become another version of Master Han, both in appearance and personality….' Baishe lamented. 'I don't know if Master Bai can face Master Han and all of his antics again. It seems to be too traumatic for him.'

Han Shun ate the diced mangoes all for himself. He glanced at Baishe a few times but with no intention of sharing. He was just afraid that the pearl snake would snatch his mangoes. 

After eating everything, Han Shun asked, "Why didn't you tell me when Bai Gege is here? I want to meet him…."

"I don't think he wants to meet you," Baishe replied. "He constantly delivered food and asked whether you need something, so he can go and bring it for you. But he always said he doesn't want to disturb your cultivation."

"But I did this for him…." Han Shun said he seemed to be dispirited when Baishe said that Bai Gege didn't want to meet him.

"And he did this for you. Just focus on what you're doing right now."

Han Shun was still grieving, but what Baishe said was true. If Bai Gege was here, Han Shun would quickly abandon his current state of gathering qi around his core and rush to hug Bai Gege. The urge would be irresistible at this point.

"Then, I want to ask you something," Han Shun said.

"Well, you haven't done anything amazing for a while, but since you've reached a feat that nobody at your age could reach, I guess I can give you a pass," Baishe looked straight into Han Shun's eyes. "Okay, what do you want to know? Baishe Jiejie knows everything about Master Bai," she claimed proudly, not knowing that she would be tongue-tied soon enough.

Han Shun thought whether it was fine to tell Baishe about this. But as long as he didn't reveal the handsome man in a black-golden robe, then it should be alright. 

"Baishe Jiejie, do you know a man named Saint Michael?" Han Shun asked.

Baishe's eyes widened instantly. She never thought that Han Shun would mention the identity of Master Han's soul in the first world. One of her sisters— Elizabeth the Saintess— guarded that world. 

"H—How did you know that name?"

"Uh… it's t a recurring dream of mine," Han Shun said. "I have been dreaming about a few men who claimed that they had met with their own version of Bai Gege in their respective worlds. Saint Michael and Ling Kai came to me, and I think… I just have the feeling that another one will come soon to visit my dream. They also claimed that we are the same person, we have the same heart but didn't elaborate more, so it only confuses me even more…."

"Baishe Jiejie, is it true? Did Bai Gege have so many lovers in the past? They said they love Bai Gege as much as I do, but they can't keep him because of many accidents."

"Baishe Jiejie, I don't think there is anyone with love bigger than mine for Bai Gege! Obviously, I am the one who loves Bai Gege the most, right? Or does Bai Gege have anybody else in this world other than me? I have to visit that man to eliminate my competition—"

"HAN SHUN!" Baishe snapped and shouted Han Shun's name to calm him down. "Relax, take a deep breath first before I tell you what really happened between Bai Gege and those men," Baishe Jiejie said.

Han Shun took a deep breath to calm his chaotic mind. He wouldn't lie that he got a bit restless when thinking that Bai Gege must've had so many lovers in the past, and he could always get another disciple right now if he wanted to. 

Meanwhile, Baishe was trying to formulate a lie so he wouldn't expose Master Bai's identity as a transmigrator. 

Because Master Han Ye's souls, despite not knowing the immense power they had, still have the ability to manipulate the world at their own will. It was dangerous if Master Bai got discovered. Han Shun might've accidentally used his power to trap Master Bai here or even erase the world if he wanted to.

After cooking up some made-up idea, Baishe replied, "It's true and not true at the same time. You see, Master Bai has lived for centuries, or probably even millions of years. We don't know Master Bai's life because I was born a lot later than him," Baishe said, masking that she was created by Master Bai.

"So, you mean is… we don't know if Master Bai has taken many lovers millions of years ago?" Han Shun asked.
