Life in the Plum Blossom Immortal Sect wasn't that different from before, other than the sect elders who grew increasingly irritated by Han Shun, who got all the favor from Master Bai Shijue and was generally a very arrogant man. 

The disciples also hated Han Shun because Han Shun didn't even look them in the eyes. He treated them all like air and only cared about Master Bai. 

However, none of them were courageous enough to voice their displeasure toward Han Shun. Because they knew that Han Shun was powerful as he could beat Man Zhang easily. 

Besides, Master Bai was protecting him really well. 

"We can't let that arrogant kid bewitch Master Bai further!" One sect elder said as they had a secret meeting. 

"Yes, look at the tremendous change after Master Bai brought that kid? He doesn't even care whether that Han Shun kid ignores us! He should be taught one thing or two about respect for the elder!" 

"Brother Peng, you're the closest one with Master Bai before that kid appears. Aren't you angry that your spot has been replaced by an arrogant kid? We should do something!"

All the sect elders looked at Bo Pengfei. They expected the strongest sect elder to finally do something. But Bo Pengfei only looked at all of them as if looking at a joke, "Is that it? All of you make this secret meeting to conspire against my Master?"

"But, how about that kid—"

"Listen, I don't like Han Shun either. But he is the kid that Master Bai chose. Not me, not you, not any of us," Bo Pengfei said firmly. "Master Bai has taken all of you to be his disciple and lead the most powerful sect, but you still want to conspire against him?! You are all heretics!" 

Bo Pengfei summoned his sword, wanting to fly away. He gave the last warning, "If I heard any of you planning this kind of conspiracy again, I would be your enemy, and I will also tell Master Bai about the whole thing."

Bo Pengfei finally left all of them alone. He disliked Han Shun's conceited nature, but he was still the most important person for Master Bai right now. He had to respect his Master's decision. 

Meanwhile, the other sect elders looked at each other. There were seven of them now. 

There were supposed to be eight, with Bo Pengfei as the strongest sect elder, the direct subordinate of Master Bai Shijue. 

But now that Bo Pengfei refused to work with them, they had to do something before the conspiracy leaked to Master Bai. 

"We need to kill Brother Peng," one sect elder said.

The sect elder named Liao Ling nodded. She closed her eyes to detect Bo Pengfei and replied, "He is heading to the Forest of Lost Mist for some reason."

"Forest of Lost Mist?" The other sect elders were intrigued by the statement. All the sect elders except Bo Pengfei were all native of this cultivation realm, meaning that they were born and raised here, giving them the advantage. They didn't need to pass that Forest of Lost Mist like a mortal who ascended to this realm.

They heard a lot of dangerous stuff from that forest, including that the Forest of Lost Mist was the hiding place of all demonic cultivators. "What is he doing in that forest?"

After coming to an agreement, they decided to follow Bo Pengfei to the Forest of Lost Mist. They had no information about Forest of Lost Mist other than what Master Bai told them back then;

Meanwhile, Bo Pengfei had already entered the Forest of Lost Mist earlier. He found his way easily because he also originated from the mortal realm. 

He entered the Forest of Lost Mist because he knew that Han Shun was training inside the forest alone by slaying celestial beasts or demonic cultivators.

At least he knew all that because Master Bai told him about it, asking Bo Pengfei to watch over Han Shun daily to ensure that he did his training well.
