After Bo Pengfei found Han Shun's location, he flew through the Forest of Lost Mist. 

It was another dense mist night, so the visibility was severely limited. Bo Pengfei closed his eyes and followed his instinct because he was one of the disciples directly trained by Master Bai to understand the layout of this dangerous forest. 

However, he also realized that a group of cultivators— possibly around seven people were chasing him from afar. One of them had the eye of detection that could find him wherever he went, and they had only one goal to achieve right now.

"So, those treacherous bastards finally made a move, huh?" Bo Pengfei murmured. "Tch, I know they can't be trusted. That's why I never give any of them a way to communicate directly with Master Bai, let alone enter his courtyard. They're nothing but ungrateful bastards." 

"I have to protect Master Bai and that kid, even if it would kill me," Bo Pengfei said.

Meanwhile, Han Shun had just exited Master Han's realm via a secret portal. He was considering returning to the Plum Blossom Immortal Sect because he wanted to see Bai Gege. Even a minute without Bai Gege by his side already made Han Shun anxious. 

He held the white jade that Master Han handed to him and put it inside his robe, "Okay, I also need to put this white jade under Bai Gege's bed. I want him to have a good night's sleep every night!"

Han Shun started flying and wanted to dash until he suddenly saw something flying towards him at an amazing speed. He got alerted instantly and prepared his stance, ready to attack whatever attacked him in this dense mist. 

But when the flying object got closer, Han Shun's eyes widened, and he didn't attack when that guy grabbed his wrist. 

"Han Shun, follow me now!" Bo Pengfei said as he dragged Han Shun deeper inside the forest. 

Han Shun tilted his head in confusion but said nothing and followed Bo Pengfei into the forest. Bo Pengfei stopped when he reached a deep valley in the forest of Lost Mist.

The deep pit had a thick mist that couldn't be dispelled by any kind of power or technique, and it was also filled with the most dangerous celestial beasts. 

They weren't a match for Bo Pengfei or Han Shun, though. Those legendary celestial beasts were a child's play for them since the Loom forest beasts were stronger because Master Bai personally enhanced their power for the event once every decade. 

Bo Pengfei sat on a rock slab to take a breather, and Han Shun couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong, Senior Peng? Did someone chase you?" 

Han Shun didn't really like this person because he always thought that Bo Pengfei was trying to find a way to covet Bai Gege from him.

But Han Shun grew to respect him a bit because Bo Pengfei was able to control the whole sect all by himself, giving a lot of spare time for Bai Gege to rest and spend time with him.

So he had to thank Bo Pengfei for that one. 

Bo Pengfei stared at Han Shun, who didn't seem to have the slightest idea of what would happen soon, "I brought you here because you're being targeted."

"Targeted? By who?" Han Shun asked. He imagined plenty of people wanted him dead, so he couldn't determine which one. 

"Tch, that doesn't matter. Whoever wants to kill me will die in my hand instead! After all, I'm extremely powerful!" Han Shun boasted. 

Bo Pengfei's gaze darkened. He knew that Han Shun was very arrogant, but he didn't expect him to be this reckless and fearless. 

Bo Pengfei got up and pointed his finger at Han Shun. He raised his voice to make sure that Han Shun understood the severity of the situation, "You dumb kid! You're being targeted by all of the sect elders from our sect!"

"WHA?!" 

Han Shun's eyes widened in shock. He thought it would be someone from another sect that wanted him dead because he won the Loom Forest hunting.

But now he was targeted by all the other sect elders of his own sect?!

"Why would they target me?! I'm Bai Gege's disciple!" Han Shun asked. "Do they not realize that Bai Gege will not let them off if he knew about this?!"

"They already know about the risk. That's why they're going to kill you and feed your corpse to the celestial beasts, so Master Bai would never be able to find your corpse," Bo Pengfei explained. "They would report to Master Bai that you got surrounded by many celestial beasts and got killed during the fight."

Han Shun clenched his fist. He never knew that people could be so ungrateful. Bai Gege told him that he took those sect elders in and taught them since they were kids, just like Han Shun. 

Of course, they didn't get the privilege to be as close as he was with Bai Gege, but they still should be grateful because Bai Gege taught them many advanced techniques that made them strong enough to be sect elders! 

"Those people… I will fucking kill them!" Han Shun swore. "How could they betray Bai Gege like this!?"

"Because they think that you're a poison for Master Bai," Bo Pengfei replied. "They want you dead because they're afraid you'll just become a distraction to Master Bai and cause him to derail. They're fanatics who worship Master Bai as a god."

Han Shun couldn't handle the reasoning because it sounded so stupid. Obviously, his presence for Master Bai was a blessing because Master Bai only smiled and laughed when Han Shun was around, meaning that Han Shun always put him in a good mood!

Though he also wouldn't deny that Bai Gege's favor towards him was very obvious, and Bai Gege didn't even try to hide it.

So jealousy was bound to happen. 

He didn't expect jealousy to result in him getting hunted by seven powerful sect elders.
