TTPC Ch. 23: Generous Golden Thigh

He shouldn’t have been so hasty to try. Pei Xuanqing’s body was too strange. How could his current bit of spiritual power be able to afford it?

Lin Yi sat up amid Shui Su’s exclamation, and at the thought of almost being sucked dry before he fell unconscious, he felt all the hairs on his body stand on end.

“You woke up. How do you feel?” Pei Xuanqing seemed to have been keeping watch here all along, quickly coming over as soon as Lin Yi woke up.

“I’m fine now, I’m sorry. I wasn’t prepared enough and almost got myself in trouble. I guess you’ll have to wait a little longer for what I promised you.” Lin Yi spoke in distress. Pei Xuanqing was finally convinced of him, but now because he didn’t have enough ability, there was no way for him to unlock the prescription in the Pharmacopoeia.
